Didnt watch the match yesterday, but read that he wasnt even on the bench. Was he injured? Or has the oatcake Schutzstaffel concocted some bollox ?

Not injured, dropped to allow Edwards a space on the bench to cover for Diouf if he needed to come off early as he went into the game carrying a knock.

Diouf was carrying an injury so it was decided to put Edwards on the bench in place of him
Diouf came off and replaced by Jesé and Chippo moting went in Dioufs position
Logic eh

Its comical isn't it? So we played an injured striker at right wing back who, bless him, has always been known for his lack of technical ability. Rather than a youngster who is one of the most promising young attacking full backs in the country and who in pre season laid down a clear marker to the manager which said 'i am the best attacking full back you have' Hughes is utterly clueless. Not to say how he hunts a striker for over a year, then plays him when he isn't fit, then drops him when he is fit, AND does not play to his strengths or attempt to find an approach that suits the said striker. Everything that hughes does is a display of complete and utter tactical ineptitude

Same news as always
He likes taking nitrous oxide, drinking driving and failing drugs tests
He is not one for working on his game, giving defenders the run around and scoring goals

Just another fucking moronic decision on an ever growing list of baffling decisions from Mark Hughes. The blokes an absolute clusterfuck and I'm convinced he must drive home pissing himself. Luckiest man in football.

So let me get straight we couldn't include Saido, but chose to have two old age pensioners (both unused) clogging up the bench. Well done Mark, well done indeed.

I have an ITK friend who has confirmed the reason why Saido was not even on the bench is because HE IS WANK

Could he not have left Jese out and have Saido on the bench. Jese is no better and only on loan.

It was clearly a shit excuse for why he wasn't even on the bench bearing in mind they couldn't even trust Edwards for 15 mins, preferring to stick ECM in a role I doubt he has ever played!
Also I'm not convinced we needed both Affelay and Adam sitting on the bench.
