Sheff Utd 4 Fulham 5. What a game that looks like. 2 hat-tricks as well. Leon Clarke scoring multiple hat-tricks in recent weeks.
Not looked at the Championship table for a while and only fleetingly paid attention to the results of late in truth, so was surprised to see Villa up to 4th and Cardiff in 2nd.
I know Warnock is a bit of a wanker as an opposition manager but the guy is an absolute genius at that level. The job he did a couple of seasons back to keep Rotherham up was nothing short of unbelievable whilst the job he's doing at Cardiff (I don't recall seeing him spending any kind of money) is equally impressive, if not more so.
Sheffield United going great guns with a Sheffield United fan as a manager. Those horrible folk from the custard bowl flying. Gary Rowett proving yet again that Birmingham City are a cesspit of a football club even without the Dildo brothers at the helm. Sunderland bottom of the league.
Not a league short on stories is it?
The English football pyramid really is a special thing, unmatched and unrivalled anywhere in the world.

Believe it or not Dave Derby fans are not happy with the football they’re playing under Rowett despite winning plenty of games of late. All the comments I hear at work compares his team to the Billy Davies team that got promoted and then ended up with the 11 points in the prem.

To the onlooker it looks very exciting but i would not want to go back there. Far to difficult to get out of there unless your Sunderland.

I went to the Burton v Sheffield game last week, the work rate Billy Sharp and Leon Clarke get through is great to watch, it made me realise how little workrate our players do in comparison.

George Saville CM at Milwall and then there's players like Rodwell and Hourihane in the league who should probably already be playing at a higher level.

Along with the likes of Man City, Man United, Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool and Arsenal. Don't think we'll be getting him.

Valetudoguy - is that the Rodwell formerly of Everton & Man City you`re refering to ?
if it is, you obviously haven`t seen him playing recently !

Sunderland..... The gift that just keeps on giving...Hate em with an absolute passion... Didn't think they'd get back up this season, but I expected them to be comfortable in midtable. Due to a combination of decent sides going down with them, decent sides already there, just how shit their squad is and just how skint they are. Didn't expect them to be rock bottom of the 2nd tier with 18 games gone. They could need around 36 more points to survive, so 12 wins or so. This is a club that has 16 wins since May 2015 and who've managed 12 wins once in the last ten seasons.

The English football pyramid really is a special thing, unmatched and unrivalled anywhere in the world. If Wilder gets Sheff Utd up, it will be a similar achievement to when Dyche got Burnley automatically promoted in 2013/14 with 93 points despite operating on a "shoestring budget" - something like only the 15th/16th biggest wage bill in the division. The Blades have probably a similar budget - way below rivals Sheff Wed who are under-achieving. I agree Warnock is a Championship promotion expert (Notts County, Sheff Utd, QPR) but he has been backed to an extent - free agents like Samba and Hoilett would not get out of bed for "peanuts".

True but all the same budget must be way way less than Wolves or Villa. However the main thing with Warnock is that he looks like Griphook
