If you are bored (as I often am) with Rubish TV.com.uk try this program on i player, BBC 2.
Just finished watching Dan doing the Klondike Gold Rush trail. He has ceartainly gone up in my estimation.
Episode 2 on again tomorrow. Quality television viewing.
Anybody else seen it ?

I watched it when it was first aired - pretty gruelling endurance type stuff wasn't it ?
He's a very good presenter and I like some of his historical documentaries. He also really gets stuck in on these sort of programmes like the Gold Rush trip.
Did you also see his trip down the Colorado River when, to quote Wiki, "in the summer of 2013 Snow was part of a team with eight others down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon in period-correct boats recreating the epic trip by John Wesley Powell through uncharted territory and rapids in 1869."
This was also pretty hard going and he swam across flooded rivers, carried really heavy wooden boats, during another fairly gruelling trip. Well worth a watch if you haven't seen it.
