Game of two halves is an understatement, Leslie wtf was that first half about? It was like we were goldfish (or you were) who'd immediately forgotten the last week's lessons. We failed to close Leicester down, we didn't stop them playing their game, for spells in the first half we made them look a way better side than they are (altho Vardy had a great game by any standard imo).
Second half, it was like we actually arrived in the stadium. Brilliant spirit, creative, combative, lot of pressure and we got a point out of it - not what we wanted but a lot better than it could have been.
I have absolutely no idea which Stoke we're likely to see next week but for today - second half deserves higher than this, first half deserves lot less - on balance it's
6* from me

I think he was right to keep the same side as last week but the Berahino sub was way too late. 4 minutes to do what exactly? What's the point?
Thought Ramadan was very lucky to stay on much past half time.

5, when will he stop playing Moting up top (although he was marginally better today).

7* from me I think he played the game as he should have done, not get sucked into Leicester's half too much as they wanted to hit us with their pace on the break, could've bought Saido on a bit sooner and used Jese. Gouranga.

6* FFS play diouf up front. Got out of jail with crouch though.

3*. Not got enough in this squad to make top ten. The plaudits have to go to Crouch for the equaliser don't they?

And we had two more great chances to win it that Schmeichel stopped. Both teams had good spells and bad spells. Wasn’t thrilled with Choupo up front but in the event he had a good game. Sensibly set up to rope a dope them. We created chances, the shift to 442 was proactive and the sub rescued a point. We still look bereft of an identity though and zonal marking cost us again. 7.

We started the game without a centre forward and lined up with a 6 man defence at home. We got a point but its a truly shit approach to the game.

Gouranga. Same here...it would have been easy to get carried away trying to press them, exactly what they wanted. Thought Choupo played really well...but he's not a centre forward. Only negative was leaving Bera to the last few minutes 7*

Well what would I say, it would be 8. In the first half he was remonstrating with Chippo and Ramadan to close the Leicester players down. In the second half he sorted the team after he went behind for the second time.

7* from me. I thought he got things pretty much spot on. Leicester are a team who have brilliant pace up front and can destroy you on the break, so Hughes player it tight to stop that. Vardy running those channels is just venomous. 1st half we were lucky not to have conceded at least one more goal but in the end we were unlucky not to win it.
OS.

After Leicester's first goal we were all over the place and, but for an amazing save from Jack, we would have been two down. That would surely have been game over. But one of the few moments of quality brought us an equaliser which changed the game again. We were certainly better in the second half, and overall much better than against Bournemouth, though that is setting the bar very low. 6*

half points all round 5
Countering the opposition is all well and good but our plan A has to ask more questions of them, especially at home.

5* starting with no CF at home WTF, Moting is not a striker still using a wing back system with no wing backs.

Unless diouf or ngoy play upfront there is no pace to our attack
Shaq is good on the ball , choupo is good on the ball but without diouf or ngoy ( when did he last play ? ) We have no pace .
The opposition could defend from the half way line if they wanted to and frankly I am surprised they don't .
I would play diouf up top for now and perhaps with crouchy for the last twenty minutes.

-1 for five at the back -1 for zonal marking -1 for having Berahino in the squad -1 for taking off Sobhi when we needed crosses to Crouchy +1 for bringing on Crouchy -1 for leaving EMCM out on the wing -1 for even thinking of taking Mame off -1 for actually being daft enough to do it -1 for bringing Berahino on
That leaves him with 3, which considering it was a less than impressive performance is about right.

7* from me.
He started with the same side which did so well at Watford and I think he was right not to change a winning team. Clearly it wasn't working, and he changed things in the second half - but, not for the first time, I felt the subs were too late, although I think Crouch and Berahino were the subs to bring on. I'd have brought Crouch on a bit earlier and Berahino should have been on 10 or 15 minutes earlier than he was.
I do think Hughes did the right thing in going to a back 4 in the second half and playing Zouma at right back to allow Diouf to go more central was a good way to do it.
For the future, we have to find a way of not using Choupo as the central striker - although I appreciate that Edwards' and Cameron's injuries have limited Hughes' scope for putting Diouf in the middle in many games.

Indeed - it did bail us out of unnecessary shit again 👍 So credit where it’s due, yes? I don't beleive that it deserves credit as we have had to rely on Crouch (I like Crouchy) yet again to bail us out of the shit, it is luck rather than judgement. Is it a poor substitution if he doesn't score? If it was a masterstroke then yes I will 100% give credit but it isnt.

Well deserved point against recent champions who've spent 5 times more than us.
Miracles on a shoestring.
