As stated yesterday that Southampton result was bad news for us as they've gone back and collapsed in desperation , he was our best chance of survival . Only one other survival expert now available , much cheaper but dear oh dear as someone said yesterday which bollock would you prefer to be kicked in still every cloud somebody's nose would be seriously out of joint if the owners reach that desperate a position. People would take you seriously if you hadn’t been saying the same thing for years on end, you’re a joke. You may see a lot of the same comments because we still have the same manager with the same clueless tactical mindset. We're rotting away and that's why we still talk about these issues at Stoke.

I thought the players looked like they were already relegated after the Southampton game, but then they are one single point behind us.

I don't think we will get relegated, but I do think we're regressing with Hughes and if he is still here next season then that could be us relegated. I think now his concerns are justified.

Absolutely, but like I said he can’t be taken seriously after comments that weren’t justified for years on end. His gripe was always that Hughes was the right man but wasn’t receiving adequate backing from the board, so if he tries to say “I told you so” he deserves to be called out on his bullshit. Hughes has been backed strongly now, both in financial and non-financial terms, but basically needs a miraculous run of results over Christmas and new year if he is to justify the backing he’s received. We all know he should’ve gone at the end of last season.

Can't imagine ever actually wanting Sam Allardyce. Awful football, blames anybody and everybody for his failings, predictable turgid football.

In the eons since Koeman was sacked two other Premier League clubs have sacked and replaced their managers.
Utter shambles from Everton

Good appointment. I think he'll do well. It'll be an interesting one. The truth is he's walking into a club with a talented squad and he'll likely get the chance to tweak it further in a month's time, so it will be about how he can get them playing to his tune as quickly as possible. Hopefully, from an England point of view, he can develop Keane into fulfilling his potential; he's shown promise in his career so far but every time I've seen him in an Everton shirt he's looked absolutely awful. If he's going to progress under anyone you'd imagine it would be Allardyce.

Huge game for them tonight, especially as teams down there are picking up a few points here and there, I think 1 of West Ham, Everton, West Brom & Stoke could well join 2 shit teams and face the drop this season...

Shambolic though they are do think this now makes it unlikely that they will go down, he only stayed up at Sunderland and Palace by skin of their teeth though.

1 game in to Fat Sam's reign and that was the 'gimme' of Huddersfield at home and Everton are top half.
Wonder if they were stupid enough to promise him a big bonus for keeping them up?!

Yep GD Jeez, you can just see Fat Sam licking his own balls at seasons end when they finish about 8th, which is only where they should be with the squad they have, like he has pulled off some miracle. I reckon I could get that squad to finish top half.
