I'd be shocked if they went down. If they bring in Silva, they'll be fine.

Based on what I saw in last night's Atalanta game, I'd say they're going down. Currently 10/1 to be relegated on Bet365. Worth a little flutter I'd say.

And he gets fucking slated for it on here. Perhaps we should get Unsworth in to replace Hughes so that we can have some truthful, if a little counter productive, comments for a change.

Granted, and I like the cut of Silva's jib, but Everton are in the brown stuff at the moment as were Hull. Yes, they have a better squad than Hull did, but they're still struggling. Silva may well sort them out but he'll need to walk out of Watford first of all and that's going to be messy.

Everton are 3pts clear of the drop zone, they've got some excellent players. They'll be grand as long as they get a decent manager and Silva is a decent manager.

You may be right mate. I couldn't be less bothered really, but the point I'm making is that nothing is certain when you're flailing around at the bottom of the table or thereabouts. I'm concerned at our situation and we're higher in the table.

Because he should be a champions league manager......which pretty much excludes us re ambition (according to a former Austrian!) Anyway, Ebeneezer, I can dream can't I? 😬 You mustn’t be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling. Don't patronise me! That's as big as I can go ha😬😱😇

To be honest, if West Brom, West Ham and Crystal Palace improve after the January window, Everton may struggle to pull themselves clear as the bottom clubs pick up points where in the first half of the season they couldn't.

On yesterday's performance they most certainly can go down... They are fucking awful, but they still managed to beat us. Like Crystal Palace. If Swansea suddenly look like world beaters against us questions need to be asked!

If Swansea suddenly look like world beaters against us questions need to be asked! They are also the only team to date who have stopped Man City from winning so swings and roundabouts. I agree they look awful ..thankfully..the more shit teams the better as things stand !

He wouldn't come here, CP. No chance. Can see the attraction of Everton though. Why not mate? Just don't think we'd hold any appeal at all for him. He's been there and got the t-shirt at clubs making up the numbers with his firefighting act. If it was just another of those jobs, he probably wouldn't bother. He doesn't need the money or the hassle At Everton, there's potential for a lot more and that's what's probably tickled his fancy.

If Swansea suddenly look like world beaters against us questions need to be asked! This is the thing. Two of the worst teams in the league managed to beat us. As well as some other ropey teams where we've lost or drawn. Doesn't say a great deal about us, does it?

Not a chance that Allardyce would come here, unless we offered him absolutely stupid money and even then that might not tempt him.
It's all probably going to be moot anyway, Everton will ultimately give him what he wants and he'll be in there before too long, they can't afford to allow this to continue any further.

Looks like we'll never get the chance to find out if he's installed at Goodison. And if Shakespeare's his No.2, that's another of the realistic options wiped out too! Coates would want Prem experience you'd think, so that leaves us with...er...er....er..

As stated yesterday that Southampton result was bad news for us as they've gone back and collapsed in desperation , he was our best chance of survival .
Only one other survival expert now available , much cheaper but dear oh dear as someone said yesterday which bollock would you prefer to be kicked in
still every cloud somebody's nose would be seriously out of joint if the owners reach that desperate a position.

He's going to get what he asked for just played a good hand , and exactly what we needed strong , leadership , we've missed a huge opportunity here and are going to bet left with Swansea deciding to stick or twist with the strongest candidates all gone our horrendous sumner being followed by a catastrophic dithering autumn
