Well he’s been kept very busy here, lots of opportunities to show Southgate his potential?

If Stoke were having a fantastic season, knocking on the door of the European places we would still be likely to lose him.
Why Liverpool haven't come in for him is beyond me.
If one of the other big clubs keepers moves on Butland will be very high up their lists.

Butland has Liverpool written all over him. The question is whether Stoke will refuse to sell until the summer.

Jack and Shaq will be gone in January. They are both ambitious players and highly skilful, but we won't hang on to them if we don't try to match that ambition and sadly we are light years away from that. If we keep them to the end of the season we will have done well. Agreed.

Jack is shipping goals like they are going out of fashion, it may not be all his fault but unless he stems the tide quick-smart he will falling behind the other potential Jo Hart successors if he hasn't done so already.

As long as we have got Lee grant I wouldn't worry

Why would him letting in goals matter? Pickford was in the worst team letting in goals for fun and still got a £30m move and has been wank since. Butland can’t do wrong if Pickford being suggested as an England regular is true.

As much chance as me getting picked to play the next James bond. Mind you he has been poor to me so far by his standards. Footballers exist too much on reputation these days. Be sad to see him go but he has always had the eye to the main chance

As long as we have got Lee grant I wouldn't worry Pretty much. As long as we've got Andy Quy, I'm not worried. We do need to source a young talent sooner rather than later though, like we did with Jack and to an extent, Bego. It's just a shame we haven't got the same ability to get players through the rest of the team.

When Bego was at the height of his powers I always remember being quietly pleased whenever he dropped an occasional clanger because of the seed of doubt it might just sow in the minds of the attentive big clubs monitoring him. It's a bit like that with Butland now. As long as no real harm comes from it I secretly celebrate every fumbled cross or shanked clearance.

The BBC agenda of keeping Hart as EngNo1 continues, Mark Swatzer(laughable spelling I know) ripping him apart on final score Like being savaged by a chihuahua. What the fuck he ever achieved in his career I could write on my little toe. And don't anyone fret. We have the legend that is Big Jakob.

Should he have saved their 2nd goal today? I disagree if he would have saved that from the range that Mahrez shot, we would all be saying that it was an amazing save

No need to apologise.
Looked like it went under his hand from my seat in the stands but was hard to tell.

No need to apologise. Looked like it went under his hand from my seat in the stands but was hard to tell. It did kind of go under him however the distance which Mahrez hit it at him, his reaction time must have an absolutely minimal as he was shown on to his strong foot by Wimmer
