I don't necessarily agree Crouch was the wrong substitution but completely agree that going direct was a really really rank bad decision. Crouch on, Berahino on, Adam on. Johnson, Jese and Choupo off. Go 3-5-2. You keep the width with Diouf and Pieters wide but you give yourself options and lots of em in the middle of the park and in the box. Given they offered bugger all up front you would have Cameron and Zouma pushing on too. We were kinda already doing this Pre Crouch and we're looking much the better side 2nd half |
