Pretty good, although he goes a bit 'Pej' when talking about old Liverpool v Man U games Seems to have been saved from the abyss of the Times Pay Wall if you click via Winter's twitter.

Is his reason for why he wouldn’t be shortlisted for a top 6 job that he’s not a very good manager?

Just a pity he can't "educate" his well paid strikers in the art of scoring goals.

This tweet praising the club from Henry Winter has also garnered lot of positive replies. Nice to read. Shame that whenever these under 21 Stoke fans come on here they get an ear bashing from the 'proper' fans who have been watching stoke since 1863. We should be a united family old and young.

Just a pity he can't "educate" his well paid strikers in the art of scoring goals. Unfortunately, that's something you just can't do. That's why some clubs are prepared to pay almost 200 million for one that is guaranteed to do just that. For most of the rest, it's a combination of sods law and good luck and being in the right place at the right time. I reckon ours have all run over a black cat. OS.

That's a great read . Thanks for putting that on sheikh. My daughter goes to the willows in penkhull ( the school in the piece ), and she's been buzzing about the visit of the players and the manager . Well done Hughes and Stoke City . 👏👏

If a premier league manager can't be expected to make players better and, in particular, strikers more likely to score, why are they all paid so well?

Good interview, especially the bit about his successful playing career abroad helping him recruit foreigners.
I'm not buying the bit about him having no ego though, although it isn't neccesarily a bad thing. The fact that in that interview alone he hints that he thinks he's good enough for a top six job suggests there is a tinge of arrogance to him. Probably less than the average Premiership manager though.

This tweet praising the club from Henry Winter has also garnered lot of positive replies. Nice to read. The praise our club should be getting for this is long overdue, same as the freezing of the season tkt prices for 10 years. I appreciate the Prem is dripping in money but we do more than most where the community is involved. Well done Stoke.

I'm pretty certain I'm better than my boss because he's useless, I think he believes that too, but he isn't going to give up the extra 10k and a car anytime soon. Waffles

If there’s one argument I can’t stand it’s that one. “You’re a fucking JCL, where were you when we were really shit?” Well they were either a toddler or not even born yet, a good portion of our fan base has only ever seen us in the Championship and the Premiership, I include myself in that.

This PR stunt worked for all of about 10 hours.
Good effort from the club to deflect off the growing disdain for Hughes.
Sadly for you, he is shite.

So he's a decent bloke who like to support charity work. Unfortunately he's also an totally wank manager who cant organize a defense to save his life, cant find a striker who can score and has all the tactical nous of a retarded slug
