I like your optimism!
That's not sarcastic by the way. It's too easy to be negative all the time.

The difference with Saido and Wimmer is that they are inherently very talented players, but have lost their form due to inactivity at the top level. Hopefully they will in time return to the level they have shown they are capable.
This was not the case with Wolly, Bojan, and Imbula who have never performed consistently well at the top level at any club they have played at and have been moved on.

We’ve more chance of maintaining a fully fit team for 2 games straight than this guy being of use to us on a football pitch.
In the last couple of years, unfortunately goals aren’t the thing he’s had success in scoring...

You've genuinely included Bojan in that list. He was our best player until his injury and an integral part of the best front line we've had in the Prem afterwards.

Tell you what would be ideal.
For him to win and take a penalty at home just to get him up and run-..........

Cometh the hour, cometh the man. Tomorrows your day son -gotta feeling about this Me too,he might even get 2. Anything less than a hat trick plus 2 assists each for crouch's and diouf's brace then he can fuck off. Oh and I also want him to make 2 goal line clearances when back tracking and helping out.

Should we get a pen today Saido, if he plays, should take it.
Begovic is the world's worst goalkeeper when it comes to saving penalties so if he can't score past him, he'll never score

If he gets one today he'll go on a scoring run and finish with 15 goals in the season
But he probably wont score today.....

You've genuinely included Bojan in that list. He was our best player until his injury and an integral part of the best front line we've had in the Prem afterwards. I have included Bojan because he was very slow to get up to speed in his first season and even when he was at his best for us, he would "disappear" from matches. I remember Bojan playing many great games for us, but I was equally disappointed by the fact he was weak physically and would be bullied off the ball. He is a wonderful skilled player, but has never broken through with a any club and become a regular first team member. It is a massive shame that he got injured when he was arguably playing the best football of his career, but is was not always like that, his first season was very patchy and nobody voted for him a player of the season in 2014-15 did they? So " He was our best player until his injury and an integral part of the best front line" only really applies for a few months before his injury. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bojan_Krki%C4%87

Begovic is the world's worst goalkeeper when it comes to saving penalties so if he can't score past him, he'll never score I'd prefer Butland with his Toblerone boots on in all honesty. Berahino needs one in open play, even if it does go in off his fat arse.

I'm predicting a last-minute toe-bunter from 40 yards.
Goarrn Saido, kick it dead hard.
