Corbyn is a parasite. I'll never vote Labour with that scummer in charge. This guy wants to rid Britain of a nuclear deterrent and decrease armed force numbers, that tells you all you need to know about this scummer. He even looks as sly as a snake. Not to be trusted, it's a disgrace he's even in parliment never mind the leader of a major party

The UK armed forces have decreased in number by around 45,000 since 2010.

Hate to break it to you, but there are Labour MP's involved in this as well as Torys. Maybe you should've taken the time to read the article? All Mp's that do this should be banned from public office no matter what the party and ministers or ex ministers should be whiter than white it comes as no surprise that Gove and Johnson are involved Yvette Cooper and Ed Balls flipped homes 3 times didn't they?

Extract from Pigs at a trough article PIGS AT THE TROUGH: YVETTE COOPER Born: Inverness, 1969 First elected to Parliament: 1997, for Pontefract & Castleford Expenses fame: Home flipping Yvette Cooper is the epitome of a career politician, an elitist ivory tower denizen that dictates our lives, but does not practice what she preaches. Yvette, and husband Ed, were subject to various claims during the expenses scandal, the most notorious of which was the fact they 'flipped' the designation of their second homes THREE times within two years. At the time of the scandal MPs outside London were entitled to a generous second home allowance, so they could perform their Westminster duties in addition to their constituency work. This 'allowance' was a staggering £24,000 per year. What's more, regardless of the fact two MPs may be married and living together, both could individually claim the full allowance, something which Balls and Cooper made the most of. After she was first elected to Parliament, Cooper designated her Castleford home as a second home. After her husband was elected in 2005 she 'flipped' the designation to their South London property, despite this clearly being their main home (their children attended London schools). They had both realised they could claim much more against a London house than they could on a Yorkshire house. When they bought a larger property in North London in 2007 they kept London as their second home. It was a no brainer, obviously. They also claimed a whopping £2,000 for the removal vans! Cooper and Balls were later exonerated of any wrongdoing, as they had acted within the rules. A relatively 'small' overpayment of £1,363 was to be paid back. This probably related to two monthly claims of £1,300 (each) for mortgage interest, at odds with their mortgage statement of only £733. The pair were also found to have claimed for 375 journeys taken by their children between Castleford and London over a three year period, totalling more than £14,000. This exceeded the allowance, which stood at a maximum of 30 journeys per year per child (or 90 journeys as they have three children). They were not sanctioned for this either. In 2007/08 Yvette Cooper claimed £152,659 in expenses and allowances alone. However, to understand the full scale of pigtroughery, one must remember that all this took place while she and Ed were earning ministerial salaries of £141,866 - each. They also have ministerial pension pots to look forward to later in their comfortable lives. All in all, quids in!

Maybe so Dave but Corbyn wants to reduce it further, I don't follow politics for the most part but just recently I saw May respond to his claims she's not fit to run the country, she absolutely tore him a new back side and he couldn't reply all he did was squirm on his bench, in short she said that his claims were funny coming from a man that wants to reduce the forces numbers ( further) and rid the country of trident "and this from a man who's duty it would be to protect the British people" .. absolutely murdered him she did. I'm sure she also went onto say bits about this government has been upping the spending on submarines, jets etc

Not an avid follower no, they are all a bunch of odious cretins only some are less odious than others, Corbyn though, he defines odious cretin, that I do know. Corbyn wants to rid the u.k of trident and our forces or am I wrong? Corbyn wants to remain in the e.u and continue to allow free movement of people allowing more and more foreigners into the country which might include more potential terrorists? Or am i wrong? You're right I don't follow politics but what I do know is Corbyn cares more about foreigners and ethnic minorities than he does about British? We don't need the e.u, all we are doing is propping up other countries that havnt got two pennies to scratch their arses with, were one of the largest contributors to the e.u. We don't manufacture anything in this country we import everything. Now america are saying theyll do a trade deal with us. It seems to me The e.u need us to trade with them more than we need them, we are one of their biggest customers. yet here we are handing out billions of GBP to every year to all and sundry in the e.u and even more to countries all over the world, many of which are not even third world, some are booming in Fact. There is a reason the e.u are desperate for us to remain and it's not because they are propping us up, it would probably collapse without us.

This government has systematically dismantled the DWP & you have to consider their purpose in this...

This government has systematically dismantled the DWP & you have to consider their purpose in this... It's either an honest attempt to reduce the public spending deficit. Or, The former working class are now surplus to requirements, as are their progeny. Those not soaked up shelf stacking and emptying, or lifestyling themselves to death, have been replaced by a migrant and/or robotic workforce. They'll be coming for the middle management next, replaced by 'time & motion' AI. A lot of daemonising and distraction in the meantime.

Beggars belief that we live in dangerous times with the most inept government I have seen in my lifetime (and I am on the wrong side of 50) yet the populour belief is that corbyn is some kind of a devil(thanks to the murdoch press) The nuclear debate is another issue but I for one would prefer to live in a world with no nuclear weapons.

Now your on the blame game lets start the thatcher / major governments for not investing in hospital/ school infrastructures that meant that schools and hospitals were falling down riddled with asbestos while the family silver (the utility companies) were sold off on the cheap so that the richest in society could be given tax cuts. Lets then also blame the greedy bankers who chased profits in the American subprime markets and the Labour government had to bail them out to stop a collapse in the banking sector. lets also blame this government for selling off these new national owned banks to there mates in the city for nock down prices while keeping the toxic assets.

And by the way they didnt sell off the banks only the shares they held as they never owned the banks and considering how much trouble all governments have running schools, nhs, police I'd suggest they might be best to give banking a miss.
