It could quite easily have been 8,9 or even 10 yesterday.
This is the first big dicking we've had in recent times, but there are plenty if not far too many four nillers under our belt.
Also let's not forget they took there foot off the gas at 3 nil but still had 86% possession in the first half.
The concern is on so many levels.
1. Butland and Shaq our two best players will not want to be part of this for much longer. Why would they?
2. How can you attract players? We never win anything and are okay, unless we play top six, then we are utter wank.
3. Those good pedigree players we have / did attract (Bojan, Imbula, Sobhi, Wimmer, Berahino, Jese, Allen, Choupo) looked / look miles short of what we expected. Add to that the lesser players of Muniesa, Joselu, Wolscheid, Hauguard etc who never did much / aren't doing anything then you have yourself a pretty woeful transfer strategy.
4. We have a manager who is clueless, absolutely clueless when it comes to:
1. Buying decent defenders
2. Having a team with defensive shape
3. Doing something about it
All in all we are a club going nowhere that is less attractive to players than when Pulis was here in my opinion. There is only one way for us and it ain't up. Might not be this season but it's coming as long as Hughes remains.
