I thought he was excellent against Southampton and I sense he's going to have a decent season in our new system. And I speak as someone who's never really rated him as a player in years gone by.
He joined us on the back of a long hard season last season and his energy levels definitely dropped, hopefully this season he's refreshed and we'll see him flourish....

The BEEB should have led with the 'fans player of the year' not the 'players player of the year', fans is the one you want to win You can win the players award just by toadying up to the other lads!

The fans' award was clearly fixed - bayern was not allowed to vote!

He likely won't score as many goals in this system but I think it'll give him the chance to contribute more on the whole.

Joe Allen is a top top player.
He has put in good performances in the home games so far.
I'm hoping we see a prolonged run of good form from him as the team settles and we get our defenders fit

Great player and one of Sparky's best signings.

I think Sparky has got such a hard on for Joe that he changed our system (similar to Wales) to try and get the best out of him.

after getting rid of our grafters joe seems like our only work horse left. you have to admire him for how much he puts into our games.

Been really impressed with how Shaq's putting himself about too. Doesn'tlook like it's coming at the cost of too many knocks so far, touch wood etc.

My daughter works in the orange tree in Lyme Valley, she's seen Crouch, Allen and Johnson in there a few times!!! 👍
