ALTHOUGH I DON'T FANCY THEIR CHANCES OF GETTING £1.1M and the fact he's made no impression with Pardew maybe indicates he's not as good as his reputation from last season would suggest. And I suppose we have other priorities - like a midfield? Although he would offer something we have absolutely nothing of - pace! Izale up for sale Dec 4 2007 By Richard Cawley CHARLTON are ready to offload Izale McLeod in the January transfer window -with a number of clubs vying for his signature. The striker, 23, only arrived at The Valley in August but has made just one Championship start and is yet to score for the Addicks in 14 appearances. And the South London Press understands that McLeod will be allowed to leave in the New Year -providing Charlton can recoup the £1.1million they paid MK Dons. Norwich and Leicester are both believed to be ready to snap up McLeod, who hit 24 goals in League Two last season. And it appears that a number of other Charlton players could also be on the move as the Addicks look to inject fresh impetus into their promotion push, which has floundered after back-to-back home losses.

I don't think he's that good! He's overhyped and overated. And at a million quid over priced!

Maybe so. But we need to shoehorn some pace into our XI from somewhere. Unless Demar emerges as a regular this season, only Fuller can break into a trot.

That's true but I think Demar will get more time as the season goes on. Sunday could be his first start if Eustace is suspended.

I don't buy this bollox about Demar being lightweight. He may be small and slight but he can ride a tackle and tends to keep the ball. He did this against Sheffield United and held the ball off a few strong tackles.
Demar has to play for my liking on sunday-it's either TP Jnr or Demar! And I think TP will actually go for Demar
