Soz KU, it was a poor response from me, but I don't see any 'unfortunately' about Diouf at wing back. He's mint, better than Moses who gets lauded for it. It was Dave Aspilasquirterfor Chelsea today, but Man City did something a bit more unconventional with their wing backs {so I've heard}. Like what Diouf does. {He starter out as a winger and as I've said he can and will score from wb too.} Dunner like it when folk knock Diouf nor Hughes utilization thereof. He's the bomb. He's a striker and should be played up front. But then we'll get battered down their left wing. God help us if Diouf gets hurt, because the options are not great if we play three across the back: either Johnson or Cameron. Or we switch to four at the back (maybe that's the best option).

Nope. We need to bin the 3 at the back bollocks too. Seriously? Zouma in midfield still for you? Pieters and Johns back in a back four? Bring back Bardsley campaign and that. Diouf yer best right back.... Nonsense mate. Nah. I'm all for flexibility but even I am happy with sticking with the back three. Can't see a team we're coming up against in the forseeable that would negate it.

But for whatever reason we don't seem to be able to sustain the momentum for 90. {But that's nowt new is it?} The 'whatever reason' is basically a striker/being more clinical. The pen today, the momentum changes, we romp it, the attacking benefits of the three, a canter, gets recognised. Two week break, Man City use a strange configuration of it, it'll suit us.

He works hard but lets be honest, he's crap and has little to no quality beyond his willingness to work hard. Could and possibly should have had a hat trick yesterday. Talking out your arse. Utter drivel. It isn't really though is it given those comments were based on his performance v Chelsea. It is also true that mame lacks quality but he more than makes up for his shortcomings with heart and desire. He was excellent yesterday and I've never wavered in fighting his corner. He should always have been a regular in our team and he is the answer to our centre forward issue and always has been. Unlike many though I don't put blinkers on when it comes to a players shortcomings, or strengths for that matter.
