A win is a win.
I didn't see the game but if we were shit and yet won - so much the better. Good teams can play shit and still win.
This was a very important win for us, we are generally getting the points in the fixtures where we should, and snatching the odd point or two in fixtures where we might expect to get nowt.

3 welcome points but we have to be better. We can't pass water. Keeping the ball is a rare occurence.

Three points in the bag. The second half was disappointingly poor, though.

A crucial 3 points but there's no disguising that performance was as negative at home as anything under Pulis.
Dreary, like the weather...

We have been shit today, and especially them last 10 after our 2nd wer pathetic look like a bunch of idiots I agree this needs sorting. We come out brightly enough for the first 20-30 minutes, then lose the plot and let the opposition into it. Today, missing the PK was the turning point. I understand the need to build Berahino's confidence, bu they should have let Shaq burst the net. Going into the break 2-0 up would have been a big psychological boost. Bad decision - heart over head and all that.

A win that we badly needed, but still some serious issues to address in terms of a striker who looks like scoring (other than Crouchy) and ball retention to take the heat out of a game.
Saints will feel hard done to with all the possession and chances they had, but we have had those days too, so let's just enjoy the 3 points.

Good 3 points. Lads n dad's hooof the ball away special at the end though.
Wimmer, bad game or is he just utter shite?
Choupo looks good. Zouma, I'd sell the bet 365 empire to keep him.

Thank goodness for that !!! Well done Stoke !!!!!!!!!! 3 valuable points helps us sit a bit more comfortably in the Prem. Indeed they do. At the end of the season, POINTS will be the major factor in defining our league position and any benefits that accrue therefrom. Even the top teams are pleased to get points from games in which they were poor so let's not go OTT with the sackcloth and ashes. All teams win some they should lose and lose some they should win, it's the nature of the sport. Onward and, hopefully, upward!!

Absolutely, going in 2 nil up against a team with a poor goal scoring record should have had the team brimming with confidence, instead we miss it and manage to barely hang on with a fairly insipid performance

We've played better and lost
2 of our back line were doubts for today's game, I'd have taken a scrappy 3 points today
Save the good football for another day
