He seemed to love Stoke's brand of football with Huddy, Greenhoff, Salmons etc

"Star Soccer" shown on ATV on Sunday afternoons was a proper football programme. Hugh Johns always seemed enthusiastic about the seventies Stoke team. Closet stoke fan in the 70s for sure

Used to hate him as a commentator they always seem to show West Brom on a Sunday . I seem to remember Stoke rarely featuring.

I'm fucking confused now mate Brew xi looks favourite All I can find is a Kiss version of the song(for some bizarre reason😄) As a lifelong Kiss fan I have to say that was one of the most disturbing things I have ever seen . Back on the subject of the adverts which was the one that encouraged you to drink yourself into a stupor in the comfort of your own home with what appeared to be a mini beer barrel on your sideboard??

Closet stoke fan in the 70s for sure Had a chat with him on the platform at New St station coming back from a game in the late 70s, and was very complimentary about our club even though by then we had dropped to the unheard of depths of division 2 (Championship in today's money). Seemed like a really nice bloke genuinely interested in engaging with fans. BM
