Would you prefer we had played a full strength team last night and a weakened one against Chelsea ? I for one would, the cups are our only chance of having a season to enjoy, relegation isn't going to happen no matter who is manager. Also don't forget winning the league cup can way down the line lead to a champions league place π

We put out a strong side. I still think it was too strong and not needed. They made 9 changes and wiped the floor with us! It's not about the changes you do or don't make.

Our "squad" should have been more than capable of winning last night. We looked terribly poor in all departments though. In particular, the decision not to strengthen our pool of strikers during the window is still a complete head scratcher. I hope it doesn't come back to bite us but I find it very bizarre indeed.

Our manager didn't just decide to not strengthen our striker options he decided to weaken them.
