Just on the radio. Apparently some older allegations have come to light

Rightly or wrongly who gets the feeling that Eniola Aluko is a bit of nasty shit-stirrer, a sort of female Danny Rose? Face didn't quite fit, a few things said, so she'd thought she'd have the last laugh after being dropped. Would the same thing have happened if she had continued to have been picked? Hmm. It may be the right thing him stepping down. However I don't have really any sympathy for "Eni".

She's not the only one who's made accusations and these fresh allegations have obviously been the final nail. He always appeared to be a bit of a smug so and so as far as I'm concerned but the team have made great strides under him.

Expect something pretty damning in this weekends papers maybe? Apparently he's walked due to allegations from before he was England manager.
He always struck me as a bit of a chav to be honest.

Whoever sanctioned the £80,000 hush money to try and silence Aluko needs to go now. There must have been something in what Aluko said or there would be no reason to give her 80K

The FA are amateurs in a professional game. Bunch of self serving wankers clinging to the gravy train as hard as they can.

You don't just hand out free cash for nothing though do you.

Why did she take it? What did she do with the money? It's interesting how what she had said came out later anyway. Hopefully the full truth will come out.

The 'racist' comments were debatable and ultimately deemed not racist by a judge. There are many cases where an out of court settlement was the original aim. Sampson has faced two investigations and both cleared him. The players reaction after scoring last night was interesting. In my experience women don't suffer fools gladly especially a bloke disrespecting one of their own.

Agreed, her tweets last night yes Sampson might be a bit stupid and made some stupid joke but you do get the feeling that she is just bitter and a shit stirrer, probably got dropped because of the disruption she causes when things don't go her way, still not given the settlement money to a charity or back to grass roots football, both parties should have their cards marked in my opinion.

She probably got dropped because she's not that good. She was a permanent fixture under the old manageress who appeared to run a closed shop of familiar faces. He's probably just been stupid with the alleged comments to her especially taking into account her day job.

It was inevitable once these sort of allegations have been made there is no point in fighting them regardless of the truth. Especially in the ultra PC world of women's football. Should have just negotiating a pay off and tried to get a proper job.
Vale are looking for a manager.

Nothing to do with allegations but Eni Aluko is the worst footballer I have ever seen play. Womens football is generally of poor quality - like lower league mens football without the tension. Headless Chicken would sum her up as a player - if that's not being disrespectful to chickens.

What a stitch up.....smacks of spineless FA bowing to pressure so then they revert to "new" unrelated allegations to dig them out of a hole. Any wonder we have football in such a state with them in charge.

It didn't take much searching to find the purported original claims whilst he was at Bristol. If it is true what is being discussed on this forum then the FA were justified, but why not do some thorough checks before employing him. s1.zetaboards.com/L_Anon/forum/1696462/

Interview with Martin Glenn... www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41336557It sounds as though the previous incident at Bristol was not about bullying or racism. An inappropriate relationship with a player perhaps?

Try the 'English Football ladies' thread on this Lezzie Gossip, it goes back to 2012. Looking at it from 2014 it seems the suggestion back then was he was shagging girl/s at the Bristol Academy.

True, Coach Powell didn't move out of her "comfort" zone, as soon as she was moved on a lot of different (and better players) made an appearance. I'm sure behind the FA scenes the door to Eni is well and truly closed. Tough.
