What is Mark Hughes obsession with only using 2 subs? We were behind, have 3 subs to change the game and he only uses 2, nearly every game it's the same...
What is wrong with using all 3?

I think he's scared of making the wrong sub so the finger doesn't get pointed at him.

Just out of interest what would your 3rd have been?
Include Adam?

I hoestly though he made the right substitutions today, and also made sense to push Mame up front. Almost paid off, too.

Needed Crouch on earlier. Unsettled their defence almost imediately.

Crouch upset them but Sohbi was awful. Never crossed because he kept trying to beat the defenders time after time.

Sohbi did alright, his only bad play was when he beat his man too many times instead of crossing the damn thing! sadly that occasion is what people will judge him on, he had a few other decent runs though and didn't really get much help from Pieters. An off day for most of the team, Shaqiri was the only one who did himself proud today, too many players were off their game for us to get anything out of today. Hughes will sort them out before Chelsea, let's hope Ryan is back - we really need him with Zouma out.

Crouch and saido should have been up front when we were 2-1 down. What a kick in the bollocks yet again for Saidos confidence when your a striker and your team is 2-1 down and desperate for a goal but the manager decides making a sub. It's fucking farcical actually

Crouch caused trouble, I'd have liked to see Berahino given a chance though, or even Charlie Adam for the lacklustre Joe Allen, it was the sort of game he would have loved to get stuck in, and his set pieces are far better than anyone else we have - Shaqiri is great from open play but not convinced by his corners.

continually tried to beat too many players and lost the ball. He did that once IIRC and it was very frustrating as he messed up a good chance, but he beat players many times and passed it either to Pieters or back inside, I don't remember him constantly losing the ball and I don't remember any other time when I thought he could have got a cross in but chose not to - the opportunity has to be right, no point crossing if there is nobody there to be on the end of it.

I remember several occasions when he beat one then tried to beat another and lost the ball with other players unmarked near him. He didnt really create or add anything.

He's been like that since he's joined and doesn't seemed to have learnt from it.

I know that they do but when a player keeps doing the same mistake then their must be something wrong either Ramadan refuses the advise or they cutting him some slack due to his age. I have high hopes for Ramadan and he can do everything with ball but most of the time his final touch is just woeful.
