worth keeping hold of for another 12 months? Yes or No
for me Yes, if he can get his fitness up, and show us his obvious talent.
No, if his social life is ahead of his football.
Time to prove alot of people wrong Jon
GOARRNNN BEAST ;D
Thoughts?

you really think he could do it in the prem i highly doubt it, even if he does get his fitness up and his talent finally surfaces he wud never b gud enough for prem as much as i would like he to be, save a fewmillion anyway if big jon started banging em in nxt season

I wish Jon Parkin all the best
he knows where the net is but it hasn't really worked out for him for one reason or another
So for Prem football? - no, sorry
he WILL do some team a good job, probably a Championship team but its time we let him go

I'm amazed!!!! This bloke must train at least 4-5 days a week twice a day, yet he's 2 stone overweight! If you can't get in shape with that routine then your never gonna be fit! He's a talented lad, but in his current condition in which I never see changing, he's a top end league one player/bottom end champ at best. The day this guy get in shape is the day 'Wrights Pies' go bump.

He was a fringe squad palyer during our promotion season - so how could he hope to be a regular in the prem? Bye bye Parkin.
