Feel very sad for the people in the Caribbean,Cuba and holidaymakers. Poorer people will really struggle to rebuild their homes and lives. However difficult to feel the same level of sympathy for people who voted for the global warming denying qunt Trump.

Sitting in a hotel in downtown Tampa just waiting for the storm to arrive at about 8pm local time.
We were holidaying in Fort Myers and expecting Irma to go over Miami. Then it switched course and heading directly to us. On Friday afternoon we had a mandatory evacuation order, i managed to get a room in a Tampa hotel, jumped in the car and we have been holed up here since Friday night.
And now the hurricane is heading straight at us.
We are on the 5th floor so hopefully as long as the window doesn't break we'll be ok
They are expecting the roads to be flooded but we'll just sit it out till we can leave
Managed to watch the match yesterday, great game, cheered me up no end
Will be back for the Southamton game
Stay safe

Ironic that he's mocking people for leaping to mad conclusions based on no evidence given the content of the majority of his videos and the mad shit that Jones peddles. Bet it would take all of thirty seconds to find evidence of Alex Jones talking about 'elites', the big state or leftists controlling weather.

Looks like Florida dodged the worst case by 50 miles or so. If it had turned just a little sooner then Irma wouldn't have been weakened by Cuba and Miami would have taken a category 5 to the face.
Stay safe to any Stokies out that way.

Stay safe to any Stokies out that way. Looks like Key West took less of a beating then expected, but the middle Key got hit hard. Marathon and Big Pine Key have been decimated - hoping that when the rescue services can get back in tomorrow that there are not too many casualties. The latest news has the worst of it headed for Orlando, and they've already had a few tornados spin off over the last hour or so. Just spoke to my brother in law down there and it's getting rough. Fortunately they don't have to worry about storm surge, but the prospect of such heavy rain and high winds along with tornadoes will wreak havoc.

Staggering footage of locals looting a sports store....FFS what is wrong with these people. With a storm that has affected well over 6 million people, leaving several dead and many, many displaced and homeless......you think the most staggering part is that a couple of low-lives take advantage of an opportunity to nick some trainers? Sounds like you've been drinking the Fox News Kool-Aid.
