Are you trying to be funny? CM has a terrible injury record. Couple of injuries last season but averaged 30 league games a season in previous 3 years. Nothing to worry about there He made 106 appearances in 3 seasons at Schalke. Not bad for a crock.

Is it just me that would play crouch in this one?
I think he will be a handful for Bailly etc. he is also very useful at defending set pieces which UTD are very strong at and we have been weak at defending them of late.
If this was Brighton etc i wouldnt go with crouch, but against the so called big teams i think he enables us to get up the pitch and get other players around him, oh and actually scores goals.

Agree with you. He was my choice against WBA also. Easy choice. He is our best striker atm. Has been for the past 7-8 months.

Seems like they might have a team that could win it this year. We'll be hard pressed to keep them out but stranger things have happened. I can't see us winning this one so a draw is the best I can hope for. Interest to see if wimmer does start where he will play him.

Is Sparky's press conference today or tomorrow?
I hate that bit when they say 'Any injuries Mark?' and he pauses before looking as though he is going to declare a clean bill of health for everyone before saying something like 'Not really, well Fletch's knee which kept him out of the internationals means he is still a doubt and Zouma took a knock on his ankle in the post-match warm down which we are hoping will settle down, and Choupo's hamstring we are monitoring but he's still very much in my thoughts. I think that's it"

The Shit have looked very good so far. They haven't played a major contender yet but you can only beat the opposition in front of you and they have been impressive without breaking sweat.
BUT they won't win every game and at some point will concede a goal.

Mourinho hates us lot, banning orders and that, And Man U... well Man U... they've failed to beat us in the last four attempts at the Bet. They were scared to play it on the ground in that last encounter.. Whatever his tactics he ain't got Rooney, last time around Adam bullied out Pogba... broke up their attempts at basketball. Saido scored his debut vs them for Brom....
We'll do these jammy cunts... I'm pretty sure....
Not sure given the managers' armchair for the day how I'd set up though. Still not sure about what the best proposal for the front three would be in this one.
Should it be a back four to try to cut out the overheads to Rashford and that?
Shaq Sadio Choupo Shaq Saido Jese Diouf Crouch Choupo Dunno
Keeep the oppos guessing. Guessums.

I would be extremely happy with a point but as early post states Man U are not going to win every game and will concede goals soon. Expecting it to be similar to the Arsenal game with them having loads of possession but unable to break us down and then, hopefully us nicking it.
Stoke 1-0 Man Utd.

www.stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/stoke-city-transfer-news-rumours-443905MH: We had a few issues coming out of international break. Choupo-Moting came off in his first game with a hamstring, we checked yesterday and we’re hopeful but there’s a little bit of doubt. A number of the others came back with little niggles but they won’t be the type of injury to stop players playing. Unfortunately Ryan Shawcross has pulled up in training and is likely to miss certainly the weekend, hopefully it won’t be any longer.
He’s got an issue with his back. It’s not what he’s had before in terms of disc injuries, it’s ligaments around the back and we have to wait for him to settle down.
It’s unfortunate because he’s started the season really well and signing the contract was important for him and us. It dragged on a little bit because these things can but we got there in the end. We were always confident the deal would be signed. It’s good news but a shame he’s injured. He’s going to be here for a long time and that’s the key.

Wonder if we'll ditch 3 at the back with Ryan being out and Zouma having a minor injury on international duty.

As much as I hate to say it , seems they have easily the most balanced squad in the league and it could be their year . Huge test for us so I'm hoping for a good performance and 8/10 from most of our players and a lot of support from us and maybe a touch of magic from Jese or Shaq to nick something .

If Ryan and Fletch are out I guess Cameron must move up to midfield, but as Diouf also is carrying a knock will Ramadan be our righ wingback? I guess Bruno will play more central and Wimmer will slot in for him. ...............Butland.................. .....Zouma......Bruno.......Wimmer...... Ramadan...Cameron....Allen.....Pieters .........Shaq...........Jese.............. ................Crouch...................

Butland
Zouma-BMI-Wimmer
XXXX-Fletcher-Allen-Pieters
Shaq-Jese
XXXX
Only real selection decisions seem to be Diouf (fitness permitting), Cameron or Ramadan at RWB.
And Berahino, Crouch, Choupo (fitness permitting) or Diouf up front?

If Diouf is out I hope he goes for Ramadan at RWB.
Crouchy up top. We need an easy out ball.
