Plenty good today again, essentially Leslie kept up the standard and the momentum, got the subs about right too - and it's hard to argue with a team successfully set up to come away from West Brom with a good solid point. All the same imho we could have gone in bolder and kept up more pressure without a serious risk of shipping goals.
Can't decide between 7 and 8 so it's:
7.5* from me

6 , predictable pattern of play and looking toothless upfront. Happy with result but not the performance, Hughes needs to beat pulis once

Thought we were BOLD today. We were the team on the front foot and went for it even when it got to 1-1.
Another heart warming effort from the lads.
On the opening 3 games evidence, we look like we are going to be alright and we are still signing players by the looks of it. I will hold my hand up and admit to being positive we would come away with nothing from the 1st 3 games.
Hats off to Hughes and the players for proving me wrong - keep it going the mighty potters.
Not much wrong today, but will knock a few marks off for not getting the win and I thought we could have tried to get the ball forward a bit quicker when we were on the break, give Pulis teams time to get the 2 banks of 5 behind the ball and it becomes difficult to create anything.

But for a defensive mix up by them, we'd be bemoaning another 1-0 surrender at the Hawthornes.
Doesn't seem like he's learnt anything from the previous defeats in the this fixture as we set up exactly the same way again.

7.5 from me as well. We were the better team but lacked the invention to make the most of our possession. I thought at half time that Ramadan needed to come on very early in the second half and I still think that. Not arguing with Crouch coming on and it was justified but I'd have gone the whole hog and brought Berahino on as well towards the end. He'd have been fired up and his pace (compared to whoever he replaced) would have been useful and we might have snatched a win.
Not depressed though - Ramadan did well and pointed out what can be achieved with wing backs prepared to cross a ball to a big striker.
I think Ramadan is worth a few games at right wing back. He's played wing back for about half an hour spread over the last two games and scored one goal and made another. Yes, I know today's goal was a mix up but if you put pressure on defences they often make mistakes - we have done often enough!

6.5 for me solid enough defensively but feeble going forward until the changes which he got right today. Good point but created very little again and need to work on that urgently

7 average. Could've added flair to attack and moved it around for creativity in either Bojan or Ramadan sooner.

Solid point away from home against a ten man defense. Made the right changes and we did well to come back from 1-0 down. Sloppy goal to give away, but we look so much more solid defensively than we have for the last 12-18 months. Still work to be done, but progressing well and good to see us out of the blocks strong compared the the usual half-arsed, under-prepared early season nonsense of recent years. Quietly confident that we could have a very good season.

Not quite for me - we got a bit more urgency after we went 1 1 when a win seemed possible but was all a bit lacklustre and gave possession away far too easily - after the treatment we've had from Pulis sides since he left I wanted us to really tear em a new one but it never really sparked until the last 10 mins or so...... A 6 for me - needs to be firing us up more, especially against those who have unfortunately become our arch nemesis.....

Anti football stifled us today but sometimes you need to step up to the plate and make a name for yourself. The team looked too pedestrian and the lack of movement was chronic.
Needed a bit of width today.

7 I wanted Ramadan on for Cameron at half time but at least he made that change eventually. Getting a result from a difficult fixture for us is something to be happy about.

Thought we played really well. Toothless at times but you are playing a stubborn Pulis defence.
Some subpar performances and a lack of incision, but some utterly excellent performances too. Fletch and Allen were quality. Subs made a huge difference.
Biggest positive for me though - another solid performance kept up over 90 minutes, rather than 45.
Play Ramadan more though Hughesy!

6- with Zouma being the bright spot today....losing his player at the back stick for the goal aside. Some good drives forward carrying the ball.
Thought Joe Allen had a good game overall as well

Really strange game today compared to last weeks. We were really up for it against The Arse but today we seemed quite happy to just sit back and take a draw.

8. Just relieved to get a point there at last. Good subs and showed more attacking intent than them.
I was genuinely fearful that we would be at the bottom of the table with zero points by the end of August but, thankfully, we lack the ambition to go that far.

7 - we showed desire and fight against a fucking horrible side. Subs eventually paid off (albeit with a bit of luck, but I suppose you create your own luck, and we were the better side for long periods today). One thing we were guilty of though was overplaying it in and around their penalty area - we need to be more clinical when the opportunities present themselves.

Stoke v away at a pulis team has very little bearing on how we are or play in the grand scheme of things. Just important not to lose
Decent selection and a good away point.

Generous ratings I think as we know just how they would setup we put in place and attack. That included almost no one who consistently tries to go at people down the wings or make runs in behind the defense (Jese is not that type, not sure about Moting yet though). For that Ramadan and Diouf for me should have been in from the off. And weather or not he dictated it, we rarely tried to push quickly up the field or got many to the corners to put in crosses (though Geoff had a few chances and he's just terrible at that).
Seems to me a Managers job is to dictate a method to win against said opponent and set out a team to best do that. Rating - 5
