Was watching a antique show today from sandon hall , there was a silver tea service given to Stan from Stoke city to celebrate his England caps . All engraved with the Stoke crest . Went for big money

Great news...! I was born on the day Sir Stan played his last league game for Stoke. 6/2/65. I have the Programme which I am told was the only time he played a league game that season. Fulham were the opponents and we won 3-1

The other night at the SCOBA event, Biggins said he left first time around to get 100 quid a week more. It's crazy how the wages have rocketed.

Suprised that the contract went so cheap.
I would hope that it may eventual end up in either the Football Museum or Stokes trophy cabinet in the Waddington suite or where ever it is.
Before some wag replies; There should be plenty of room in the cabinet !!
