Pleasing to see his cameo yesterday
did some bits and pieces - neat and tidy - dropped into a role quickly and easily
got caught out a couple of times but that because he was trying positive things, even late on in a game against such opposition
he at all times, wanted to set play going forwards - positively.
e.g. A couple of times Both he and Joe Allen linked up to break away but, the killer pass was just found wanting, a fraction off -
had it found its way through, we were free and clear onto their back four -happened at least twice towards the end
and thats why I like both of them - progressive - even against one of the better sides
even when we were under pressure
And so, to my eyes, that bodes very well for the future of Stoke City so,
well done to our Egyptian sphinx -
in fact, well done to both of them

He had a defensive task, and he did it well, i think Peiters feels relaxed when Ramadan is on the pitch.
I wish to see the old Ramadona with attacking tasks too.

The perfect sub for when we are defending a lead like we were yesterday. He's fast, strong, puts in a shift defensively, and wants to spring a counter. Everything we would have wanted from Walters in a game like this the last couple of seasons, except younger.

I love the kid but I'm disappointed that he is doing the same as last season with no development or progress sure he needs game time but his performance is still the same he can do everything with the ball but when it comes to making decisions he often chose either the hard one or the wrong one and his hesitation and refusal to shoot. Frankly, I don't know who to blame him for staying the same or Hughes for not coaching him more to develop his skills.

Could he play at right wingback too?

I still hold huge reservations regarding Ramadan. IMHO he's too slow for premier league football and he's got to learn to do the basics. Yesterday he played a suicidal pass infield late on which led to an arsenal chance. There's a time to be clever and he needs to learn it. I bloody hope I'm wrong and he comes good but I just don't see a player in him YET!

He used his strength and won the ball off whoever it was with ease. It was the best bit of defending of the game for me. He then passed it inside to them. It was so frustrating. Our game management was poor again yesterday. Moting at the end pissed me off with his shot in about the 93rd minute. Run up the corner and sit on it!

Not see zoumas contribution Yesterday? From what I remember Ramadan won the ball just in our half and instead of looking for berahino down the line or carrying it himself he played a suicide ball inside. To me that's the basics he needs get right, same as the fancy flicks, all nice to see when your 2 up and cantering. Totally agree regarding moting. You run the ball into the flag not try an audacious shot.

You run the ball into the flag not try an audacious shot. It was indeed the best bit of individual defending. Zouma was very good in general and obviously a lot better overall but that's not what I was stating. I thought what Ramadan did there in terms of strength and reading the game was absolutely immense. The ball (the easy bit) was indeed absolutely dreadful.

He should get plenty of game time if Shaqiri is out for weeks with a pulled armstring.

Not sure if mentioned but there was a smart / experienced leave to a through ball at LB / penalty box relieving my heart if nothing else.
Really want to love this guy.
