Yesterday it was a pleasure to be at the Bet365 because the players, manager, fans and also the ground improvements were/are excellent. We were back to our horrible best doing all the dirty stuff well and that sprinkled with the talent of the new signings.Days like yesterday have restored my faith in the manager and players.Yes we had our luck but that just makes it the more sweeter being Arsenal and Wenger. It's amazing what a good win can do do for your weekend and how you feel😀 Knowing us we'll probably get beat by Rochdale on Wednesday😮😄

The size of the screen on the T.V's in the Boothen End concourse are poor, as half of it is taken up by adverts, making the text too small to read (other than that on the adverts, of course). Can this be a subject for discussion at your next meeting with Mr. Scholes, please? As a good part of the screen is occupied by adverts, is there any chance of installing T.V's with a larger screen?

Good win yesterday over one of most detested opponents, and really pleased with Jese and Choupo, but we were lucky with a few decisions and it highlighted where we still need improvements.
Possibly two or three more players leaving - Wolly, Imbula, and now Bojan may be off to Malaga, and then in my opinion the team still needs upgrades at left and right wing back, centre midfield as Arsenal overran us in the second half, and a big, strong, pacy striker.
The stadium is looking great and the new corner finishes it off nicely.
Hopefully we can get our first win over the Capped One at West Brom next week and it would be great for Berahino to break his duck and grab the winner !!
Also just a special mention for the Austrian rat who surpassed himself yesterday with a needless and mindless sending off. The Hammers fans are none too happy I should imagine. Looking great business by Stoke so far !

Good evening all, hope you've had a good weekend. As the resident pessimist, yesterday was the exact tonic I needed to assure us that lessons have been learned from the train wreck that was last season. Even as someone on the Hughes Out camp- I hope yesterday was a glimpse of what's to come from him.
Was fantastic to see us with that steel and bite that we know our squad is capable of- even moreso with the new additions. All of which look extremely comfortable in a new squad. Yes we rode a fine line at times and we're lucky not to concede a penalty, but even if we hadn't come away with a point-to-point that performance was enough to convince me that we'll be alright.
Also like to add that playing Delilah before the kick off was inspired. Got everyone onside and everyone on the same page. The stadium also looks brilliant and as Ange had said in the past, we should be proud of the extra work gone into making it more accessable for the disabled. We gave the new corner a trial run and really enjoyed it in there, having the noise generated from the South Stand and adjoining Arsenal fans, as well as a view to rival the Boothen End corner. As South Stand vets, it'll be nice to meet up with friends in the Seddon for a beer at half time.

A fantastic win over Arsenal, Vale losing again and Arnie getting sent off. What a perfect day !.....I'm expecting a more positive Russ this week....Should i cancel that 6 month holiday in Bognor Regis for him ? 😀
Joking apart, I thought the new corner and screens looked great. So a big 👍 to everybody involved at the club...

Fantastic win. I hope I eat humble pie throughout the season regarding Hughes and the signings. What's his plan for Bruno? Anyway, the lads played so well but let's not get carried away. Arsenal could have really won if it were not for Butland. If we beat the baggies then maybe we could be onto something.

I loved that song at the end Ange. The irony is that the song jump around is played at Arsenal. I hope they keep it. It's the end of a footy game not tennis.

Credit to Mr Tony Scholes also. To get Bruno for 7m is unbelievable. How on earth the man negotiated that but it's good business.

Ange, are you saying getting rid of Walters, Whelan and Bardsley has helped the with the team spirit ?
Interesting if true...🤔

Evening all
I do think we should keep Joe Allen, certainly we shouldn't sell him to a rival (Swansea?) in this window, regardless of the amount
Too late in the window to get a suitable replacement
Fletcher when interviewed during the week, saying how much he enjoyed playing alongside Joe and that they were working well together - maybe he was prompted to make such a statement

The vehement response about the Police tweet is just silly and one of the main reasons I don't use social media- the leaping to be outraged about anything and everything.
Bit of harmless fun.

Here's a question. Does bayernoatcake still think Geoff Cameron isn't good enough and shouldn't be in the team, despite being a integral player for us over the past 5 years and playing over 150 games?

After Rooney scored his "predictable" goal last week, Giroud came on as a sub and is on 99 goals for Arsenal!
So glad he missed that last chance in front of the Arsenal fans

Yes What about Zouma and Jesé? With them being loans they shouldn't in the starting 11 should they? Going by your logic.

Zouma will have a good season with us and then return to Chelsea and get sold for a big fee. Bit like they did with Ake
