Saw him sneak in a bit late....I blame the stewards ...he looked a bit flustered...could have been the "body search" maybe he got the full pat down ? Anyway I assume he was here to watch Butters....? He did stay and moved seats in the second half though ...sat with the Arsenal bigwigs in the box ...mind you there was a fracas in the posh seats behind the box just at the end of the first half ...so maybe he moved for safety reasons ....or possibly because he couldn't See a damned thing with everyone getting up to run out ...then the stewards were In a stand off with some bloke ...anyone shed light on the situation ..

Who cares? Not our problem. They're paying him big money and he's done more on social media than he's done on the pitch. We didn't miss him today.

Southgate was just to the right of me and he must be delighted with Jack, as we all were 😄, I would have thought his choice as number 1 England keeper is now very, very close.
The trouble was caused by around eight Gooner fans that were VIP guests in the Chairmans Lounge. They were clearly bladdered and very abusive right from the start of the game..... there were women and children in the VIP area immediately in front and behind them and yet they continued to spout verbal abuse after being warned several times by the stewards and adjacent fans. Eventually, one greasy haired twat had a go at a steward who then tried to grab him, and one of the others (an older loony guy) threw himself to the ground and faked some kind of fit - stewards naturally concerned that it was a medical problem.
Anyway, his mates were pissing themselves at the older guy (obviously done this stunt before) and they were continuing to hand-out the verbal abuse. More tougher looking stewards arrived on the stroke of half time and that was the last of them, ejected from the ground by all accounts. Someone said to them, "you should have more respect being guests in this area".... the reply, typically.... "just like you lot towards Ramsey, eh"!!
Complete tossers the lot of em, I kinda felt as though justice wasn't done and it would have been fekkin brilliant if they had been there to witness Rodders wonder goal !!

" one of the others (an older loony guy) threw himself to the ground ... "just like you lot towards Ramsey, eh"!! Couple of responses to this. Firstly, "throwing himself to the ground". I presume the diving on the pitch has rubbed off on the fans, too? And they're STILL talking about Ramsey? FFS I thought we were over that...

Pickford played a ball the other day which the commentators were drooling over, Jack did the same yesterday but in a much tighter space and not a mention whatsoever. I love jacks low trajectory balls forward, he gets distance whilst keeping speed on his kicks. It could be effective if we can get a flick on for the striker/s.
When it comes to England though we have two exceptionally talented goalkeepers and either could be no1.

I'd still expect Joe Hart to be first choice, which tells you all about England and why we'll never win anything until things change.

Looks like it's been added to his game (unless he did it pre injury and I've just forgotten!)

its allways possible that you get visitors in the Waddington suite and 1863 lounge. we should ban any clubs whos fans cause disruption. so for now I wouldn't be taking any more bookings from arsehole fans.

As good as Jack is, he can't match Pickford on that. Heaton is a very underrated goalkeeper. It's amazing that he's playing for Burnley on £35k a week.

Was expecting to see Southgate late, as he had to come from Anfield's 3pm kick-off.
He presumably did not wish to disturb the directors so watched from elsewhere but sat to the left of host Peter Coates for the second half.
The trouble was six rows above him so he did not see it, which is fortunate now that our expansion means that we are available for England under 21 games.
