First half today really impressed me, I thought that was our most conmvincing playing shape of this year, and our defending was way less scary all game. Excellent goal from Baldy, not a lot anyone could have done about that but we def lost the battke of the team talks, second half was about holding on really till close to the end and one shot on target all game thanks to Shaq in added times says it all about our ability to create consistently. I'd have made the subs 10 mins earlier personally when Plan A had plainly run out of road but on balance.... long way to go but not a bad restart from LMH for me.
7 from me

No strategy, no game plan.
But at least we didn't get smashed again. 3/10

6. Could be worse but that team isn't going to score many goals.

Nobody ( not even berahino himself) thinks berahino is a premier league striker except hughes

3 and that's generous, still doesn't know how to play Berahino, still doesn't know what pace means, still doesn't know his best formation or team, and still thinks we played well and deserved something from the game (delusional twat). Sold experienced players so that he has youth available but only Tymon in the squad (fucking wank management yet again) Gouranga.

I was there.
Had a clear system which the players fitted into.
Lacked that quality into the box. Both wing backs were fine.

6 - the team performed reasonably well but he has to accept that Saido can't operate as a lone forward...

5 from me, trying to play 3 at the back without proper wing backs becomes 5 at the back. Too cautious, doesn't respond to the other coaches change in tactics, often too little, too samey, to late. All to familiar.

Main criticism is how long he takes to make subs

6. Could have been a lot worse, defended well, subs improved our threat, but would've played Ramadan, Berahino isn't a lone striker, and we wouldn't have scored if we'd played until the middle of October.

4 ....its not difficult to look solid playing a back 5 and it seems like he will stick with this. He has done sweet fa to address our lack of creativity and goal threat. Why I haven't a clue. We probably won't go down but the signs are its going to be a tough watch this season

7 - Thought we competed well throughout the match, much better than i expected, we just couldn't find that final ball and other than the goal had very little to do defensively.

6 - started well but then we never kick on or adapt. Double subs helped but then didn't use his final option

6.5 Started well but it was clear we wouldn't be able to keep pressing at that rate for the 90 and needed to score while enjoying the lions share of possession, as per last season we didn't do this and once falling behind you couldn't see us coming back to win the game. Subs a little late but were effective.

6 from me as well thought the subs were a bit late again and some how we need to look at using crouch with berahino when we are chasing games

4*
Seems to have learnt nothing from last season. I can only assume the word substitute comes into his head if someone texts him or he set a reminder on his phone.
Everton were poor and we had a golden opportunity to get something from the game. Sadly we didn't and that lays at Hughes' door.

First half we looked solid, so credit for that. But we have no plan, he doesn't know how the get the best out of players, we evidently haven't worked on attacking set pieces and we never looked like scoring.
We will go down if he is our manager st Christmas, let alone May
4/10.

6. Defence was ok, Pieters included but Berahino will never be able to play the lone striker as long as he has got a hole in his arse.

Not the drubbing I was half expecting and were better side first half only to get punished for clock watching.......BUT that says as much about a very tentative Everton as it does Stoke - I think we deserved the draw and that chance in injury time would not have been unjust. As for Mr Hughes I think a 6 - Bera is just not working out unfortunately and we need more options up front.....
