Still does, the Greenhoff's are approaching 40 years of living in Alsager and T.C. now lives a few doors away from him. Righto. He doesn't live on the Mere anymore. I heard he moved away after his business went bump. I haven't seen him around for a good 20 years. I see his daughter occasionally. I've never seen Terry Conroy in the village. H Yes he downsized basically but stayed in Alsager then having a close friendship with T.C. he convinced him to move to Alsager as well which he did about 3 years ago, I see Terry a lot around the village, in Asda, at the Doctors etc,

Higginbottom , Pulis , Lawrence , fuller , soares . Huth , all bought or rented on. Wychwood park only a few hundred yards from Staffordshire , indeed the night after the Leicester game they were all in the local pub Unless you are referring to the team in general, neither Soares nor Huth were Stoke City players at that point. The team in general at that time was my point , the players referred to lived there during some or all of the time they were at stoke .

In the 80's they all lived on Westbury Park. Nicky Morgan, Graham Shaw et all Often saw em in Westbury Tavern...I lived in same street as Dave Kevan on Westbury Park, and often saw a few players picking him up. As a kid in Werrington lived in same street as Eric Skeels, and big Bren was just around the corner. When I lived in Stone we had Ronnie, Cranny, Siggy and Dave Kevan ( again ) always in the local. And a few Vale players as well, Kevin Kent, Peter Swan plus a few others...

Martin Foyle lived next door to my mate when I was a kid in Westbury park. Looking back on it he took my abuse rather well and had a laugh with me.

Wilko lives in barlaston dunt he? No mate, Wilko lives in Whitmore. Andy Griffin still lives in Barlaston, Terry Conroy recently moved from Clayton ( don't know where to ) Dennis Smith is still in Lightwood and Begovic was living in Seabridge. I live a mile or so from Denise Coates, Gareth Barry lives a mile the other way and Yvette Fielding closer still. Aren't I lucky 🙄

Jackie Marsh used to live by us when we lived in Sandford Hill. Jackie lived in a council house just off Ashwood His house used to back onto the same park as our flat. The one where Foley and New Penny played their games. Rarely saw him sober.

I bought my house in Sneyd Green off Paul Johnson (the one who went to Shrewsbury/York/Leek Town) circa 2000 - up until then and for some while after he was still involved with the club. Decent bloke, but on no account mention the current resemblance to Willie Thorne.
Around this time Nigel Pearson lodged in Sneyd Green as well at weekends while assistant manager, and of course before the wild dog attacks /ostrich head / shirt and neck wrestling /"I can handle myself" / Ive got a shed full of guns era - generally before he became the type of guy who gets into bed at night and giggles as he pulls the covers over his head.
"The Grayn" was also where Neville Chamberlain (footballer-with-brother, not piece of paper-waving PM) lived in the 1980s, and going way back, George Eastham had a house built right at the top behind the Sneyd Arms.
Crooks/Heath/Chapman used the Holden Bridge in the 1980s on Leek New Rd in the "Super Sneydie G" as well but never lived there

Carl Beeston lived in trentham. After we played derby away at the old baseball ground, our coach broke down on the A50. Lou saw us in the layby, asked the team coach to go back and picked some of us up. The coach turned down new inn lane and dropped Carl, me and my mate off at the Man In Space pub! Carl beeston lived in a terraced house on oxford road basford.
