Finally managed to get onto BET365 and deposit some cash, it's not that easy here in Thailand , as gambling is forbidden. So... Here is my 1st attempt, though I slightly fucked up...
Celtic v Hearts...I gone Celtic win 1/5 Aberdeen v Hamilton...I gone Aberdeen 3/10. Motherwell v Rangers...Slightly fucked up, I meant to go for Rangers and Draw, but accidentally got Motherwell or Rangers win ( No Draw )...1/4 PSG v Amiens...PSG 1/8 Marsiele v Dijon.. Marsiele 2/5 15 quid to return 46.06...
Thoughts...

never bet accas bookies love them because you have to win all the legs they only need one to go down to trouser your stake, and there's always at least 1 odds on fav that gets done over

I personally avoid any betting at the start and the end of seasons.

I think Derby are silly odds to beat Sunderland tonight. Nearly 2/1 so 15 quid returns almost 45

I usually stick with a 3 fold acumalator and stick a fiver on it.

I think this season if I do any, it will be on the bookies and no longer online (too easy to keep loading up your account!)
I will do accas but 3 or 4 games maximum and of odds of around 2.00-3.00 per game (sorry its decimals here!)
£5 should return around £100-£200 on this depending on your mix.
Example, this week if I wasnt going away, I would go for this:
Ipswich v BIRMINGHAM - 3.00 ASTON VILLA v Hull - 2.05 PORTSMOUTH v Rochdale - 2.00 STEVENAGE v Newport - 2.15
£5 returns £132
But as I say, all are risky. Birmingham with Harry for me could be interesting and 3.00 is great value as Ipswich aren't so great. Hull look terrible. Portsmouth look great value at 2.00 and well Newport saved themselves with a great finish to last season. On paper this is a winner when in reality it wont be!

I expect villa to have a good season but equally hull too. Brum are a funny one no consistency from season to season either good or bad so I'd avoid betting on them this early in the season.

Obviously but then depends how you wish to gamble. You can play it safe and just about double up but needing to stake a large amount to make it worthwhile, which I have often found to be a bit dissatisfying when they come off. Whereas, winning a big sum on a small stake has a different feel. To get them, you need odds like Birminghams away at Ipswich.

Personally I'd never put anything over a couple of quid on an acca of over 4 bets. Little and often is how i bet on doubles and trebles that may only double your money but usually come in. Last season i bet from August ko to February off £20 and banked over £100. When my online gambling pot runneth dry i stopped.

Pull back from the brink brother before it's too late.

It's fucking hot down in France and they haven't got a day's work in 'em at the best of times. Apart from that it's obviously free cash ;-) This time next year Rodney ..... and all that :-)

I genuinely find gambling enjoyable, win or lose. I am disciplined enough to not place ridiculous stakes. Can't wait to have an acca this weekend.

If you want to make money, decide how much you want to win, chose a home win @ 1/5 and bet accordingly. For 30 quid profit here, put 150 on.

+2.5 goals every stoke game. Odds will be crap after the first 6 games all come in!!!
Treble and 3xdoubles on straight results my normal bet. Normally L1 and L2 is where the value is, I find.

I only ever bet smallish stakes eg£5 or £10 but on one occaision leading upto the festive season I picked two 6 team accas but I couldn't make my mind up which one to have as my "long shots" so I lumped them all together 8folds,9folds,10folds,11folds,acca. all was going well ended up with 10 out of 12 results so won £300 quid for £20 but I checked my two losing bets barnet[fair enough]STOKE v Leicester and we were 2 nil up!!!ffs so stoke cost me over 2k and if barnet had have won also I think it was 23k!!!

I'm not a betting man since betting on Notts County to win Endsleigh Division 1 and they finished last of 24. That said, St Pauli to win Bundesliga 2 must be worth a punt, they look ready for better things.
Also, Oklahoma State as an outside bet to win the College Football national championship.

When I was 18 and at uni, just 2 weeks into the new millennium, I walked past a Coral in town and decided to give gambling a go for the first time.
I remembered being bitter about not being able to gamble just eight months earlier when I was 17; every year my dad would put a pound each on the Grand National for me and my two brothers (we chose our horses) and that year he decided to say it was a waste of money as we never win. I'd already picked Bobbyjo and sure enough it won and I was cheated out of my £17.
So when I was 18 I thought I'd give it a proper go. I picked a three match accumulator. In Division 1, I picked Bolton to beat QPR away at quite long odds. In Division 2, Wigan had been flying high but had lost for the first time that season the week before and they were home to Millwall (in the playoff places); I had sneaky suspicion the wheels were about to properly come off so I picked a Millwall away win. In Division 3, Brighton were high in the league and Leyton Orient were doing terribly, but I had a friend who was a Brighton fan and he'd mentioned that they beat the good teams and inexplicably lose to the crap teams, so I picked Leyton Orient to pull off a shock away win. Altogether I got odds of 60-1 ish and put down a £2 stake.
Amazingly, Bolton and Leyton Orient pulled off unlikely 1-0 away wins. Wigan had a player sent off early on. Millwall dominated the game, hit the post, missed a penalty and finally took the lead early in the second half. But Wigan scored an equaliser right near the end, they drew 1-1 and my £120 evaporated into the ether.
And that's why I don't gamble.

I had a free in play £5 bet last seaon on Man City v Barca as long as I placed a £5 bet before on the game. I went for Barca 4-0 with Messi scoring first at 40/1 and then as it was running my in play was Barca to Score 3rd goal before 70 mins at 3/1. Both came in, even despite Neymar missing a penalty when it was 3-0 in the 85th minute! From £5 I retured £225. I don't think I've had a win since though!

IF my 3 picks come in today I am tempted to roll the 46 quid onto 5 accas in 1st Round of Lge Cup. BRUM v Crawley at 3/10 reasonable value. LEEDS v Vale at 9/20 SHEF UTD v Walsall 9/20 WOLVES v Yeovil 3/10 Colchester v VILLA 4/7
I think all 5 are decent value, and returns256 Quid...

LEEDS v Vale at 9/20 SHEF UTD v Walsall 9/20 WOLVES v Yeovil 3/10 Colchester v VILLA 4/7 I think all 5 are decent value, and returns256 Quid... Bookies love punters who do that kind of thing. It's one of the reasons they come out on top- the punter gets a couple of wins, gets excited and thinks he can't lose, then pisses away all of his winnings in one losing bet. The other psychological weakness that a lot of punters have is not being able to handle losing, so they chase losses and try to win it all back again, inevitably ending up losing more and more as they do so. It's your money and obviously you can do what you like with it, but in my experience The League Cup is an absolute nightmare to bet on. You never know which teams are taking it seriously and which aren't, so there's always plenty of upsets in the early rounds. You'll kick yourself now if those 5 come in, so if you're going to be betting regularly, why not set yourself a level stake that you always use? That way, you don't risk blowing everything in one crazy bet if your emotions get the better of you. I limit myself to £30 a week- always done £10 stakes before, but this year I'm going to do fivers instead and do five x £5 singles and one £5 acca every week, just because accas are a bit of fun and it's impossible to make decent money on singles unless you're betting big stakes. I'm sure I'll end up down by the end of the year, but even if every bet I place loses (last season felt like that at times!) then I know there's a limit on what's coming out of my bank account.

You need to check the team line-ups prior to placing. A lot of championship teams play weakened teams a la prem teams in the fa cup......leave it till later rounds or Saturdays footy.
