Nice guy with bags of skill. Unfortunately, he has shown again recently that he is either not able to make an impact or doesn't have the determination to impose himself.
If either apply he shouldn't expect a reserved place in the starting 11.
Good luck to him.

Still don't see why we're doing this. Saving 2 million pounds letting a genuinely creative player depart. Madness. Unless that said player is going to sulk his way around the club having been forced to stay. Bojan, clearly, doesn't have the stomach for a fight or faith that he can take the opportunity when it comes along. He had a good pre season featuring prominently and had his place in the 11 for the opening day of the season. It was his to lose and he lost it. ...or perhaps he isn't convinced by the noises coming out of the Hughes camp and feels he's the fall guy when things go wrong, which seems to have been the case at times. He had one chance this season in the league and he didn't lose it, he played fairly well. He was then dropped immediately when two new players came in , what sort of signal does that send to a player. We've yet to see if these players are better week in week out and it may be they fit better into the current team shape, but to loan him out without getting anyone else in is madness. Whatever you think of him, he will always score goals and give us soem creativity, which we are surely lacking at the moment, especially if Shaq continues with his injury problems.

Was better than Bera who can seemingly do no-wrong.

Not official yet from Stoke. Seriously will we let him leave if we havent got a repalcement. We'd be dreadfully short of numbers if Bojan and Imbula depart. Got to be at least one in surely

Geoff Cameron wasn't dropped just because BMI signed. Bojan did nowhere near enough against Everton. He wasn't alone but the first two to be subbed on the day were rightly subbed and NEITHER started the following game.

Can't agree for once Dave, I felt Bojan played fairly well at Everton and was unlucky to be dropped for the next game, but it worked out OK as it happens. Yeah Cameron didn't deserve to be dropped but that's a different point. Berahino deserved to be dropped, absolutely, but he was given another chance, wasn't he! I just feel Bojan is the fall guy, I don't know what the reason is, certainly he was not at his best, perhaps he just doesn't fit into the team shape anymore. He can give us something different though and it leave us very light in the scoring department if we get nobody else in and we are light enough there anyway as it is.

I wonder, if, in the back of his head he knows that he's not going to hit the levels again but knows he can probably get these sorts of loans based on his reputation? Let's be honest, other than Barca and arguably Stoke, he's never settled anywhere.
I do think that injury at Rochdale consigned him to the 'nearly' pile. He was nearly brilliant for us, then Rochdale happened and, whichever way you spin it, he's never recovered properly since. He was exceptional for three months, excellent on his initial return from injury but the remainder of his time has been largely disappointing - mainly because he's got all the ability in the world but it just hasn't quite worked for whatever reason.
I think he's a genuinely good bloke who has done a lot to enhance our reputation but, sadly, there's just something missing in his psyche. I felt genuinely quite sad watching him trundle around against Rochdale last week. He wasn't awful by any stretch but he just didn't look as if he wanted it and looked shot to bits.
Good luck Boj. Hopefully his homeland will reignite him. We did our best to do it and did so for a short while, which was a magnificent whilst it lasted.

It's a shame because you have to think that the problems that have seemingly followed him wherever he's been are as much mental as anything else. Everyone wants Bojan to succeed, preferably at Stoke but he's got to knuckle down and want it as well.

the paperwork might be filled out and ready to go, but has he actually left? Stoke haven't said anything officially, nor have Alaves or Bojan himself?
with no more incomings, maybe stoke haven't let him go out?
the only things on twitter are pictures of him in the german or stoke strips
i know the spanish league have an extra day to wrap things up

Gutted about this. He was a huge name and massive coupe for us when he signed. Never thought we'd attract such a player with his huge reputation while in his prime.

He's bound to be affected if he's the sole remaining member of the Three Amigos on the books. They seem his biggest friends in the country. Could we see all Three Amigos wiped off the board in one fell swoop? Don't rule it out FM. And people doubt he's ITK 🤔
