At Chelsea is a goalkeeper called Matej Delac, who signed for the club in September 2009. Delac has played a total of 154 games across nine seasons for Inter Zapresic, Vitesse, Dynamo Ceske Budejovice, Vitoria de Guimaraes, Vojvodina, Sarajevo, Arles-Avignon and Excel Mouscron. He has never played for Chelsea. That's nuts. I imagine most of their squad is a similar thing. People are right when they say they must make millions out of it. I think they are the only club I know of to do it so extensively I read somewhere that he's now their longest serving player and I don't think he's played a single game for them. Joker's! Testimonial next year. Chelsea legend.

You don't? Get payed Chelsea wages while playing out on loan, in many cases in Holland and other much lower paying leagues. No settled job, no settled countries for them and their family, no settled life. I still don't get it When I was much younger and single I did the equivalent in my (much less well paid) industry, short term free-lance contracts across the uk, Italy, Scandinavia. I fucking loved it. I don't get why you don't get it.
