Great interview, and what a knowledgeable fan. I know how difficult growing up as a potter, living this end of the world can be.

Great interview, and what a knowledgeable fan. I know how difficult growing up as a potter, living this end of the world can be. Back in the 80`s i used to chat with cockney in the Boothen paddock, he was a farrier in London but had moved his family up to Stoke and he travelled back to work during the week to work, anyone know what happened to him?

The bloke's a legend and was always there when it mattered.
Sounds like John Lydon and has that facial and eye expression to go with it.

Had one of my best stoke weekend's ever in his company. Luton away, can't remember the year it was 94/95 maybe. We won 3-2 last game of the season but we all stayed down teds house the night before, visited a few boozers, had an ace time. Great host and a proper true stoke supporter. So many people from outside the area have contributed a lot of time travelling to stoke games over the years. Rain or shine.

Thanks for that interview. Not seen Ted for a while. We both started watching Stoke in 63. I was with him at the Cardiff play off game. He is a top Stoke fan.He never faltered throughout the wilderness years just kept turning up

Just to echo what's already been posted, Ted is a top bloke and a Stoke legend, he's stuck by us through thick and thin, something some of our JCL knicker-wetters could perhaps learn from.
His family are all staunch Millwall, I understand that his love of Stoke hasn't gone down too well at times, particularly after a certain day out in London we had a few years back.
