Good price for a striker with a good scoring record Gouranga.

The French league may be more suited to him being as mobile as a cathedral*.
*Apart from that wheeled cathedral from Wakefield.

Bony for 15m is still a better striker than Berahino for 18m

Bony for 15m is still a better striker than Berahino for 18m That may be so (which it isn't really) But since no one has paid £18m or even close to that for Berahino I think everyone except you can sleep easy.

Should have been amazing. Like every Striker Hughes has bought, never got a consistent run of games in a consistent system. Luckily now we have invested so much in Saido he has to stick with him, and I think he will come good.

That said, I do not, as yet, have perhaps that same level of confidence.
Couple of pre season hat tricks will ease that of course. ; )

Hasn't Hughes given Berahino a run of games and he has contributed feck all?

If he's playing as a lone striker and he doesn't run around, what were his strengths exactly? He's not Peter Crouch with the ball or in the air, so how would we have gone about doing that? He was unfit and uninterested and played his way out of the side.
