A great win for a great, hard-working player who deserves all the success that comes her way. However, I'm sorry but she isn't British and neither is Aliaj Bedene.

However, I'm sorry but she isn't British and neither is Aliaj Bedene. Agreed! Just like Greg Rusedski was always Canadian

If a dog is born in a stable, it doesn't make it a horse!

She seems to have control in the big points and that is the sign of a person who believes she is good enough to win.
Should do great things for the girls game in the UK too. Seeing others achieve is a great motivator.
Women's tennis is the best paid job for a female athlete if I'm right. I'm surprised more don't give it a go.

2016 was her breakthrough year, she reached the AO semis, won her first WTA title and broke into the top 10 for the first time which saw her gain entry to the year end tour finals.

TEST If you click on the "new" button, it takes you to the last post you read on that particular thread, saves time trawling through to where you last were. And she is British.
