An absolute inspiration to not only the region and club, but to the country and the world. I'll always remember seeing him come out as mascot against Chelsea and sprinting around. You would not for one moment think he was battling this illness, he even managed to send Begovic the wrong way and not many manage that! Defoe has been superb with the lad, other players of course have been great (special mention to Mannone who visited regularly) but Defoe is his best mate and has lived up to the title as a role model. Bradley Lowery has only been on this Earth a short time, but he leaves a legacy that will last for the rest of our lives. His bravery has been nothing short of inspirational and has helped raise awareness for this rare form of cancer. The substitute board has now risen, the talented football mad youngster is now set to make his debut. Coming on for heaven number 1; Bradley Lowery. RIP little one

For as much as we give one another shit, Sunderland have been superb for the lad, a true rollercoaster of a tale, with the worst possible ending. I'm devastated.

I sat reading the news today on holiday and tears streamed down my face. This little lad has touched the hearts of everyone. His smile is infectious. I gave my little girl an extra big cuddle tonight. God only knows how brads mum and dad feel, I should imagine they are heartbroken, but immensely proud. What an absolute inspiration this little boy has been. A true fighter. Play with them angels little man and you keep that infectious smile going.
