Cheers mate I've only done Florence but it was awesome and the missus loves her history and art so I basically got a free tour. Like most Italian cities, if you go a few streets over from the main tourist bits you get a much better deal so long as you drink wine. A half litre of wine or beer are usually about the same price. I'd fucking love to see a game of Florentine football (google "calcio storico"), especially if we could get the Arse on the pitch.

Well worth watching if not. No I didn't, thanks for the heads up Just been catching a bit of Lidice stuff in the local media lately and this reminded me how close it was to Prague. Would like to go myself st some point.

The old town in Prague is fantastic the new part not so good. Not been to Florence but am told it's very good.
