To go to the Confederations Cup final. Chile won the peno shootout 3-0, Bravo saved all three of Portugal's penalties and Ronaldo didn't even get to take one because as usual he was preening himself ready to take the glorious winning peno at the end Germany-Mexico in the other semi tomorrow

Watched it on ITV jeez it was hard work at times. Chile are excellent in possession but there was a 5 minute period in the 2nd half where they literally went nowhere other than back to Bravo, then across the back line, then back to Bravo.
The best team won by a mile though in saying that, and Portugal's penalties were woeful....

Tedious game but an exercise in winning. Penalties was funny.

Portugal must be the worst Euro champions since Greece. At least Greece won some difficult ties and didn't have a top class player to see them through.

People will still say Bravo is shit He made a brilliant sharp stop in the first half from a point blank effort. For Chile he's a talismanic captain, for ManC he's a bit... well, shit. On another note, how fucking good are Chile at penno shootouts? To be honest for an Englishman it's a bit unsettling supporting a team that's so competent in them..
