"Sunday meeting of the flat earth society" The silly sausage, Everyone knows the flat earthers meet on a Monday after Jeremy Kyle. & stop b!%dy cutting & pasting, it's banned. By far the most popular and widely read newspapers at the BBC are The Guardian and The Independent. Producers refer to them routinely for the line to take on running stories, and for inspiration on which items to cover. In the later stages of my career, I lost count of the number of times I asked a producer for a brief on a story, only to be handed a copy of The Guardian and told ‘it’s all in there’.
– Peter Sissons, Former BBC News and Current Affairs presenter
Says it all really.......Research from the Grauniad aided by lefty academic experts funded by the EU
There's a reason for that. It's because trained, educated journalists write for the Guardian and Independent whereas Richard Littlejohn, Katie Hopkins and Bungle the fucking Bear write for the papers that you read.

This row over Leadsoms comments remind me of the British governments pathetic and mis-guided view that the Nazis could be restrained by way of an agreement prior to the outbreak of world war II. They were wrong .They invaded Poland and we then decleared war on them as part of our treaty obligations.
You see we need patriotism now just like we did back then . We didn't get that unity and fight (hard brexit) until ChurcHill took over . I see May as the only person of delivering what the country asked for ...Out of the EU.
For anyone unsure of the facts read on ....
Corbyn lost ..

Yes it appears a male brain does in fact take on characteristics of a female brain after fatherhood. This means an increases in activity in networks associated with emotional processing and social understanding. There's also an increase in feminine hormones and a reported decrease in testosterone, believed to make men less aggressive and bring them closer to their child. Oxytocin increases too which is informally known as the cuddle hormone. Well no wonder you're a left-wing twat bath, most women tend to be. Is that why my moobs are growing

Sounds like absolute bollocks. You can't have empathy now unless you've produced brats. I suspect Theresa May wanted children but unfortunately could not have them. Your comments reminded of my childless aunt who was as maternal if not even more so than the rest of my aunts with children and my mother. When she succumbed to dementia an orderly queue of grateful nieces and nephews came forward to make sure that she was cared for. What a shame that your blind hatred of the Conservative party feeds your views on Theresa May. Ms Leadsom was dealt with for her crass remarks. With all due respect Felonious, Theresa May is not your loving Aunt. Whether it was Theresa's choice or not to have children is neither here nor there, you only have to consider the finished product. It's a shame that you are allowing your blinkered view of the Torys to stop you seeing her for what she is. Now stop virtue signallingXx So you lacked empathy, compassion and humanity before you had kids? Poor sod.

Personally ....I would back Satan himself if I thought he was the best man to get the best deal for Great Britain PLC . Infact I would vote for any politician from any party regardless of how many prostitutes or young men he had befriended , but I do have to draw the line at Diane Abbotts admirers past or present . I do have standards don't you know ....

You have more faith in May than i Well.....we all have to hope and pray that she and her team make a strong and determined case for Great Britain . It is vital that we all get behind the team and allow her to deliver what the British public have requested . Brexit means Brexit was the simple slogan she proclaimed and so far she has stuck to the mandate / script . Political squabbling and back stabbing is counter productive in such circumstances . There are many aspects to the Tory manifesto I totally disagree with , but I'm old enough and wise enough to appreciate that you don't cut your nose off to spite your face . Sadly that cannot be said for everyone on here as many prefer to remind us of their personal hatred of her and not the bigger picture .....Fox hunting , the NHS , social care , terrorism etc are typical subjects of complaint and condemnation , but the sad fact is that these will all pale into insignificance when one considers the massive impact Brexit will have if we don't get a good deal . Its all a bit short sighted and childish . One only has to read the mindless petty arguments on the Questiontime Thread when the idiot from the audience was ejected . The whole of the audience cheered in approval .

I suggest you have a read about the holocaust and see if you still think remaining in the single market is comparable.

I think ridiculous tenuous remarks about the holocaust is scraping the proverbial barrel and I don't wish to enter into a debate regarding it . I am more than capable of discussing any aspects of History where appropriate and applicable . The patriotism comment was a simple but effective analogy to reflect what is needed when you have 27 other countries in direct conflict against you on the political stage . Let's not get confused and twisted .

Its all a bit short sighted and childish . Then why call a general election? She made the NHS, social care and fox hunting subjects to be discussed when she did that. She did it for her parties own opportunistic political power and for no other reason. She ran an awful campaign trying to convince people to vote for her. She didn't include anyone else other than her 'team' of two in her campaign. She doesn't like talking to anyone that might ask her questions. She can't talk 10 people from the old testament in to a deal with her. And you expect the same woman to get a good deal on brexit? You're deluded. She's the worst tory leader for a long time. When Boris takes over he might take that title from her though!

Josh ....I am as deluded as the 172 Labour MPs who voted No confidence in him .
Or perhaps as deluded as my very own Labour MP who on the eve of the election said to me ..." You're voting for me ...not the Nutjob in London . "
The very same MP who not so long ago was a Cabinet minister .
I am not a Tory . I am a realist . I didn't vote for either party as a matter of fact .
The Labour Party has never ever been so unelectable as it is right now ....You have MCDonnell on You tube proudly declaring his Marxist credentials ...You have Corbyn at Glastonbury preaching to the converted acne sufferers ...and Daine Abbott who is an absolute joke....
Can you imagine these three clowns sat round a table of EU economists discussing our exit .....None of them have any semblance of credibility or statesman like ability .
C'mon ...Complete idiots .
