Lewis Crossley is a 7 year old HUGE Stoke fan He was diagnosed with T Cell Acute Lymphoblastic leukaemia ( T-ALL) in October 2015 at just 5 years old...over the last 2 years he has undergone a variety of challenging treatments including multiple courses of chemotherapy at both Royal Stoke and Birmingham children's hospital Following a relapse in December Lewis underwent a stem cell transplant in February which was deemed his best hope for a cure but unfortunately on June 6th his patents received devastating news that he had relapsed and his treatment options were now limited. Team Lewis has now been set up to raise funds for his family during this difficult time ..please read share and support the fundraising page - Team Lewis just giving www.justgiving.com/Teamlewis-1?utm_source=Sharethis&utm_medium=fundraisingpage&utm_content=Teamlewis-1&utm_campaign=pfp-emailLewis is a clever funny and brave special little boy who everybody who meets him falls under his spell ..his favourite players are Ryan Shawcross, Charlie Adam, Peter Crouch and Jack Butland Any help would be much appreciated for this little boy and a massive Stokie Many thanks and " We'll be with you every step along the way " Admin any chance this could this be pinned please ?...cheers

I donated some money Werrington, hopefully it reads my visa debit card from overseas. It wasn't alot but I wanted to help. My mate is dying from cancer right now and its.... I dont have the words to describe the impact it has on family and friends. One day we will win this battle, we are smart creatures. X

It is horrendous what this little boy and his family are going through. My wife is a friend and colleague of his mums and they are such lovely people. I know some of the stoke lads have visited him on the ward before now and it made his day. I'm even going against my own and attending a Pie and peas and quiz charity night at port vale to try and help raise some funds, every bit helps!

Just donated. I know it's not about money it's about showing people are touched by others stories regardless of if they know them personally and that what they have gone through can bring people together. Best of luck xx

Hello fellow Stokies, After coming across Werrington's post about Lewis Crossley (the brave 7 year-old Stokie fighting leukaemia), I've decided to take on a 1400 km cycling challenge to raise some funds for Team Lewis. I've been very moved Lewis's story and also the work of the Joe Gilligan Trust. I will cycle from Prague in Czech Republic (where I currently live) to Stoke-on-Trent in 14 days. Here is my fundraising page: www.justgiving.com/fundraising/teamlewispraguetostokecycleMy objective is to raise 2000 GBP and to arrive in Stoke for the Bournemouth game. Your help is greatly appreciated! 'Vis Unita Fortior' Alex (a Stokie in Prague) p.s I've already receieved quite a few donations from Stokies who've read the post here. You guys rock! Thanks for the support

Good evening fellow Stokies, It was a great moment seeing Lewis come out of the tunnel with Butland against Arsenal, both all smiles. Result wasn't too bad either, can Lewis be there every home game please ?! I've now raised 650 £ but still a bit far from that 2000 £ mark but we're getting there thanks to your donations. I'm leaving in a month now and physical preparation is going well! Here is the link to my fundraising page again www.justgiving.com/fundraising/teamlewispraguetostokecycleI've also created a FB page so friends and donators can follow all the updates, would be great if you could like that page : www.facebook.com/cycle4LewisHave a good week and thanks for your generosity Alex (a Potter in Prague)
