Apparently tickets are all one price of £253 regardless of whether you want to stay for a day or full 5 days. Personally wouldn’t consider 5 minutes.

Glastonbury, Idles - Live at Glastonbury: www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p07d6k71 via @bbciplayer Set of the day by the best band in the country right now. Thought Stormzy pulled it off, certainly showed Kanye West how its done. Jon Hopkins was impressive too. Yeah, Stormzy put a lot of thought & effort into that.

You’re right that Jon Hopkins was impressive, very impressive. And although I was nearly put off by all the BBC Stormzy fawning, I watched his set and enjoyed it a lot. He seems like a good kid, although I wish some (most) of his lyrics were clearer. I thought it was funny when all those fat birds came on and started singing “we like chocolate”. That was plain for everyone to see, I thought. Shortly afterwards, I realised they were actually singing “sweet like chocolate” which was probably kinder to them, although not quite as appropriate somehow. I’ll start the day today with the Proclaimers at 11.45 on the Pyramid stage. I love the Proclaimers.

I know the Proclaimers can knock out a good tune or two whenever they want, but some of their lyrics are simply sublime and Wherever You Roam has actually made me shed a tear on more than one occasion (and it’s not often I’m emotional). I’ve seen ‘em live a couple of times and hope to again next time they are around here.

What odds do I get on Miley Cyrus coming out with some "Fuck Trump/Brexit" type statement? It seems that Stormzy beat her to it...

Every George Ezra song sounds the same I'm not sure whether most modern music is just shit or i've officially got old. This new music style in general doesnt seem to suit large festivals or fill the air with powerful sounds. Like a good rock/indie band of 20 years ago Couldn't agree more. I have no new music in my collection.

Can anyone explain to me why this stuff that Stormzy and his ilk do is classed as music? What a feckin racket! It certainly has little to do with music.
