I'm sure we can all agree that the Tory election campaign was shambolic, and we can all agree that Corbyn played a blinder with Labour's. So what prevented Labour from actually getting into power? Also, given that Corbyn galvanized the young vote, and May alienated the old, where does he pick up the extra votes needed to become PM?

This election wasn't so much about him winning-as him not losing.
A 9%+ increase in the vote for any party is good.
The real test is the next one-when it will be a real 2 party battle.

Pagan $#!t Is that in the same way that Blair and his Labour Party have made the word natniolism a swear word and portrayed as a bigot as Brown would call it? No

Well if you have millions of pounds of free advertising in the tory press resorting to personal attacks a lot in this country are thick and don't look at what is being offered they just do what the sun and the mail tell them to do the only way to stop this vile attack on our democracy is not to buy the papers hit the tory owners in there pocket

Because there aren't enough people aged 18 to 30 in this country. These are the people who have no experience of how vile the IRA were so aren't bothered about Labour's support for them. They are still in the sallow days of their lives and have yet to undergo the pain of an economy run by the likes of Gordon Brown. Their current gullibility allows them to think the Tories will hurt them in later life, but eventually like all of us they will see the light, but by then there will be another generation of 18 to 30 year olds to make the same mistakes. Ce la vie.
