It seems the 'men in dark suits' will shortly come for Mrs May. So who do you fancy Jonesy and the rest of you Tory Boys?
Here are the current odds with Bet365
Boris (BoJo) Johnson 13-8 Old Etonian, plays well to the conservative blue rinse brigade at party conference time but a massive thunder cunt.
David (Dickie) Davis 4-1 Plays the 'grammar school boy' ticket hard, probably the safest bet
Amber (Green) Rudd 5-1 Cheltenham Ladies College, think Theresa May only less prissy
Ruth (Diesel Dyke) Davidson 6-1 Definitely the most personable of the runners and riders but won by distancing herself from the party in England. A raving lesbian who won't take well to the fundamentalist religious bigotry of the DUP with whom the Tories are now in bed.
Phil (The Goth) Hammond 12-1 Recently sidelined but a decent man, is he smart suited and spiffy enough for the modern media game though?

Dr. Liam Fox will stand again. Credit for his persistence. He just won't take no for an answer.
Ruth Davidson looks the best bet. She is a winner and she seems competent but would surely alienate the DUP wing of the Tories.
Maybe Rudd.
Davies is personable but a real lightweight. He was like a rabbit in headlights when asked about non-tariff barriers to trade. He clearly didn't understand the concept, which is worrying considering his current role!

Can he become prime minister without being an MP?

The way its going with young people flocking to Labour the only one with any possible appeal to the young is Davidson. In fact she's the only one I can see who could possibly win a majority for the Tories in a possible Autumn election.

Can he become prime minister without being an MP? You can become leader of your party without being an MP-I'm sure years ago you could be PM but not so sure now.

It should be a Brexiteer and noone else. So that rules out Rudd and Davidson.
The Brexit wing of the Tory party pressured Dave into the referendum. Mays me me me election was all about Brexit.
Johnson or Davis should take up the reins. They got us into this mess. One of those daft fuckers should have to take us through the car crash that's coming.

Ruth Davidson is not an MP either.

That's true, plus she wants to distance herself from the English Tories and especially the DUP

Its such a poisoned chalice who would actually want it at the moment. I wonder if the party might even allow her to keep going through Brexit just to avoid the damage that will inevitably bring to a new leader, and then knife her in the back?

In fact she's the only one I can see who could possibly win a majority for the Tories in a possible Autumn election. She's straight down the line with no bullshit aswell, in politicians terms at least. It would be a good move for politics in Britain and would place Conservative back towards where they were with Cameron and Gideon.

Neither are daft fuckers, though Boris does play the part well. I would have liked to see Davis made leader instead of Cameron. I agree with Momo, Davidson seems the most capable but I reckon BJ will get it.

Fair point. ;D We do need two strong parties to oppose and challenge each other though, and it could be argued we've got none at the moment. They need to make the right choice and quickly.
