Jokes! Honestly can't tell what that photo is, but not sure how it relates to Burger King's tweet? Presumably, if Woolworths had put out promotional material in the context of 1950s civil rights sit ins, saying that they were still selling milkshakes, that would be a laugh.

You can show these Tweets all you like, it's not changing anyone's intentions I'm afraid. Yes yet more examples of "Lose the argument - get the man" ! It's just reinforcing our determination. Not "the man" - but his words.

I was pointing out that Nigel Farage is very anti-political correctness and pro-free speech - but is quick to shit his knickers when he's the butt of a risque joke.

You just don’t get it max The people who matter the people who are going to vote for the brexit Party couldn’t give damn if it’s funded by raiding the widows and orphans charity fund They are angry with the establishment and are intent on giving them a good kicking It’s then up to the establishment react because the anger is not going to dissipate quickly And what then - when the anger has subsided, and the protest has been made? God knows the people of Stoke have as much reason than most to feel let down, ignored, etc. as anyone. What happens when the party is over and the hangover clears? Will it be better, or will a complete mess have been replaced with an either bigger mess? If politicans aren't being held to account for their utterances now, how likely is it that they'll listen to the public in the future when not listening to them, but rather feeding them empty rhetoric has proved to be so successful up till now? If the UK leaves the EU and things don't get better soon, who will they point the finger at next? Can't blame the EU then. Can't blame austerity (which I think is a much greater cause of dissatisfaction) because austerity isn`t being blamed now. I don't agree with the staement on the billboard (which has nothing to do with funding, by the way). The public as a group are generally smarter and better informed than some people would have you believe - this message board is a testament to that. But I still think that they're being conned big time with this issue.

Really looking forward to the Olympia final rally tomorrow night ! I've attended two rallies myself and seen all the rest on the internet - they've been brilliant. Superb speakers who are extremely passionate about delivering Brexit and the abysmal way our career politicians and MSM have all tried to thwart Brexit at every opportunity, and have ignored democracy. These latest attacks and smear attempts are just adding fuel to the fire for the Brexit Party supporters.
Roll on Thursday !As Farage read from a letter he received from an old raf pilot from bomber command in ww2 you know you’re getting close when you start taking flak

This resort that it ( the words) was " only meant as a joke" are a time honoured refuge when accused of suggesting something dodgy. I suppose at least Nigel didn't do a Tommy or Prescott and resort to immediate physical retaliation... The press would have loved that picture. I'the importance of the actual language in this or any debate.... after the Referendum, all of s sudden we need s deal, A people's vote becomes a confirmatory vote, May was talking in the abstract, after his ' negotiations' Cameron tried to talk about his new agreement with the "EU".... they still think that the electorate are stupid.. May now has a fantastic new bold WA( treaty?)

He's many things - politically shrewd, clever, deftly capable of managing his public image to perfection, and an excellent wordsmith who can tell people what they want to hear. But courageous? Arguably he was courageous in leading UKIP in the early days at times, but right now he's just being a politicians as are all those involved with the European elections. The main issues with these EU Elections in the UK are Brexit and the Brexit Party's inevitable victory. Outside of the UK it is the environment, worker's rights, democracy, immigration, and a few other things.

The "intense scrutiny" he receives in the media (if that's what we're talking about) is the same as every other politician - like it or not the media will target a politicians weak area and ignore anything positive they have achieved. Similar to the threats to his family, unfortunately most high-profile politicians will received abuse from dickheads on social media. In essence if Nigel Farage is courageous, so is every politician.

If you enter politics you can expect some difficult questions, it's par for the course - and he knows that as well. Again, pretty much every politician has been "attacked" in this way - both the person and the message. Every PMQ's is pretty much one side trying to discredit the other. And now Farage is successfully discrediting the Tories and Labour over their Brexit message. And they'll try and discredit him back. It's politics.

I really don't think the "Farage fans" or Brexit Party supporters are "shitting their knickers" at all.
Judging by the constant stream of attacks by other parties and "politicians" (I use the word loosely as many are beneath contempt), the MSM, social media, idiot protesters with milkshakes, and now even stooping as low as wheeling out Gordon bloody Brown, I'd say it's EVERYONE BUT the Brexit Party and supporters who are "shitting their knickers".
Nobody thought the Brexit Party would grow (and continues to grow) at the rate that it has, and they are now trying every trick in the book to discredit Farage and the rest.
This latest Electoral Commission investigation is yet another attempt. They gave the Brexit Party a 100% clean bill of health last week following their checks, but suddenly following Gordon Brown's speech they are now doing another one today.
Smacks of desperation to me !

It seems to me Yeokel , from what I've seen, that the Gilets violence is inflicted by the state. To suppress it seems peaceful protest. I prefer the Gandhi model although there was a South American priest who did advocate violence saying that he had come to the conclusion that Christian s had a duty to use it to overthrow s corrupt regime

Great speech from Nigel Farage tonight ! Interesting that the Electoral Commission gave the Brexit Party their verbal approval last week about the Brexit Party fundraising system. They didn't put it in writing even though they promised to do so. Now after Gordon Brown's speech today they are going back to re-investigate. Nothing but yet another attempt to smear the Brexit Party ! Yes, both Nigel and Claire Fox were on fire last night and delivered especially impassioned speeches. It's a bit rich for Gordon Brown, a failed chancellor and failed prime minister who is no longer an elected politician at any level, to criticise the Brexit Party on financial affairs. From 1999-2002 he sold half the nation's gold reserves at US$275/oz - the lowest price in the last 37 years - in a series of Dutch auctions which automatically accepted the lowest bid from registered bidders. But it seems there is no consequence for extreme financial incompetence if you hold high office. We the voters know precisely what his agenda is. It's the same agenda coming from his sanctimonious cohorts like Blair, Major, Soubry and Cable who all think we should be saved from ourselves. As Richard Tice said last night they should stop thinking of Brexit as a problem which needs to be mitigated and think of it as a golden opportunity to be grasped.
