Worth a watch Some key moments... 2 hours - Newcastle result. 2h 16m - Sunderland result. 2h 18m - First analysis of results. 6h 12m - Prof John Curtice says Leave set to win. 6h 17m - Chuka Ummuna says he will respect the result. 6h 40m - BBC declare Leave wins. 10h 57m 50s - "A strong, decisive & clear victory for Leave". I watched it live. The day the majority spoke and the first of many lies from Chukka and co. For better or worse the public have spoken Failure to implement it cost Corbyn the PM and his leadership and many MPs their jobs. No sympathy for any of them Failure to implement it sooner left the UK on the back foot but all the talk since Christmas is predicting the opposite of Armageddon. It might not be smooth and there will be obstacles but we will make it work. We always do. It’s happening. So people should quit their moaning and get on with it Nobody likes a quitter 🚬💋

It is quite ironic really. Had Brexit been implemented much earlier we'd have more than likely ended up with Theresa May's horrible 'deal' (Which we all know was basically remain) and in the following election the Brexit voters would have been pissed off with the Tories & would have gone back to their traditional home & voted for Labour, so we'd have Jezza as PM. None of that did happen though because of the actions of the Remoaners/Jezza fans, and we've instead ended up with Boris as PM & the very real chance of a proper Brexit afterall... Strange how things turn out!

We agree on something 😉 Don't get me started on Rochefort Trappist or Delerium Tremens...and they'll still be readily available if you avoid the McPubs owned by Greene King etc If you get a chance try a kastel rouge

There has been an online poll in Le Figaro newspaper today where approx 60000 people took part and were asked about their thoughts on the UK after Brexit.
Brexit : êtes-vous optimiste pour l’avenir du Royaume-Uni hors de l’Union européenne ? (Are you optimistic about the future of the UK outside the EU ?). Publié il y a 10 heures (published 10 hours ago) Oui 59.3% Non 40.7% 60242 votants
Most of the readers replies were extremely positive :
"Our British friends will in the next few years be the only state to get their heads out of the water. Unlike the rest of the old continent. It will be a magnificent foot hold to this Europe which has failed in all areas."
"Our British friends have the courage and audacity of the victors and the taste for freedom. The energy and determination they have shown to get out of this prison E.E. is a testament to that. In comparison, the French seem very timid."
"A clear majority of readers of Le Figaro think it's better outside the EU than in it."
"They will be able to protect their economy and their jobs... Decrease in unemployment, increase in wages awaits the British, in 10 years we will imitate them!"
"At some point in the near future, the European Union will break up and the British will be pleased to have avoided the problems that this dissolution will cause."

"At some point in the near future, the European Union will break up and the British will be pleased to have avoided the problems that this dissolution will cause." Just to add a bit of balance on the newspaper in question, here is it's overview from wiki. "Le Figaro has traditionally held a conservative editorial stance, becoming the voice of the French upper and middle classes.[7] The newspaper's ownership by Serge Dassault has been a source of controversy in terms of conflict-of-interest, as Dassault also owns a major military supplier and has served in political positions from the Union for a Popular Movement party. His son Olivier Dassault is a member of the French National Assembly.[22] Dassault has remarked in an interview in 2004 on the public radio station France Inter that "newspapers must promulgate healthy ideas" and that "left-wing ideas are not healthy ideas."[23] In February 2012, a general assembly of the newspaper's journalists adopted a motion accusing the paper's managing editor, Étienne Mougeotte, of having made Le Figaro into the "bulletin" of the governing party, the Union for a Popular Movement, of the government and of President Nicolas Sarkozy. They requested more pluralism and "honesty" and accused the paper of one-sided political reporting. Mougeotte had previously said that Le Figaro would do nothing to embarrass the government and the right.[24][25][26] Mougeotte publicly replied: "Our editorial line pleases our readers as it is, it works. I don't see why I should change it. [...] We are a right-wing newspaper and we express it clearly, by the way. Our readers know it, our journalists too. There's nothing new to that!" Now a right wing conservative newspaper displaying anti-EU tones is backed up in the comments section, surely not. The quicker people stop reading this manipulative tripe the better off we will all be whether you're Labour or Conservative, Bexiteer or Remainer.

Happy Brexit Day!
Today is the first day of the New Age of Renaissance for the United Kingdom.
My other half and I are about to celebrate with a full English breakfast and a bottle of English sparkling wine. (I'll probably need a strong coffee afterwards though...)
Here's to the free United Kingdom!

I'm not sure how you get to that conclusion Roj. I also enjoy your well thought out responses but this is just sound biting taking a point on the media and twisting it to a class based Brexit point, even Nige would be proud. Maybe I should have added The Telegraph in aswell but you have totally missed any type of point I was looking go address here and slipped into the lazy faux outrage that has been building over the past 3 years. I'm not really fussed about what class people fall into it as a quick glance at the Leave vote has everyone from people on the bread line to the owner of Wetherspoons through to Boris Johnson. The point here is not an attack on class or Leave or Remain, or even Labour or Conservative voters but it is now how people are choosing media outlets that that are anti or even pro EU and pointing to polls as evidence to support a narrative. It would be akin to quoting 'Fox Hunting Weekly' and suggesting that their poll is in favour of the ban being lifted. The damage that the media is doing globally is getting worse by the day and personally as I have pointed out above, everyone would be much better off by leaving the trash alone.

I find it incredulous that you ever went to art school. Staggering! “Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.” - Pablo Picasso. When Picasso was in exile in Paris, the Gestapo popped round to see what he was up to. Whilst there they saw his completed painting Guernica. One of the Gestapo said to him,”Did you do that?” To which Picasso replied,”No, You did!”
