Went past a row of quite new town houses last. Week each one had 3 wheelie bins outside . About 30 bins in total looked appalling

About 30 bins in total looked appalling The thing is Harry, these houses are Victorian & in the burbs of Bath. The council have no intention of introducing wheelie-bins to the City centre, as it would take away the affect of the Georgian architecture & that might effect their great tourists cash-cow

Last time I was there I had lunch at the royal crescent hotel , in the garden . Perfect , beautiful food . Lovely location

They do look unsightly in places where you can't move them, some councils need to think about the residential areas and what tpe of refuge and recycling is required.

I never allow my front lawn to grow above 2 inches either. Standards need to be upheld, otherwise we'd end up looking like bucknal

Are gulls a big problem in Bath. My brother used to live near to the rec and I don't recollect there being that many. This was a few years ago mind.
