There are actually other things that you can do with your spare time you know. You don't HAVE to support a successful Premier League football team. How have we been a successful premier league team???? We haven't been relegated , ask the three who went down what they would call success and I know what they would tell you

The seventh most wins as a manager in the premier league - only 3 managers in the premier now, have won more games. It just begs the question- who is there that we can guarantee would do a better job?

I want him gone, but in the end the chairman decides and so as it looks like he may well be staying. Therefore, he has to have my support going forward(until he gets us into a right mess then he can clear off).😉😉😉

He's got a lot of explaining to do.
Ramadonna returns from AFCON and gets a run out. We beat palace and boro and draw with man city and give Chelsea a scare
Then he drops him and we have an abysmall run with only one win ( v hull)
Then he returns for the last game and we win again
He finally moves shaq inside half way through the final game of the season and the whole team plays better
I would say on balance he hasn't exactly won me over

Where do you people get off at telling others what to do? Quite right Bayern. Right old sanctimonious dick! If people want Hughes gone then it doesn't make you less of a fan. As for "successful premier team", am I missing something here?. Correction. A sanctimonious dick who doesn't even attend games.

I've had my say on Hughes and that is I think we need someone else in charge to inject us with more energy and enthusiasm again. However, whilst maintaining that point of view I have also always said I'll give him my support as it's obvious he's going nowhere and I never ever want us to not win. Big summer for Sparky..

I will always support the club and whatever the team at every game - which I guess means although I believe we should replace him now, I will be supporting Hughes as well come August. I just hope he regains his mojo both in the marketplace and pitch side.

Oh I'd forgotten I'm not allowed to have an opinion on anything because I'm a lowly, dog shit on the bottom of a shoe fan. If there'd been some semblance of a plan this season and it just didn't work out I can accept that, the fact that it's been a disorganised mess from start to finish has convinced me that his times up. But as his time most certainly "isn't up", why not give this supporting malarkey a rest - until he's gone? You would, by so doing, actually give some of us, a rest.

How have we been a successful premier league team???? We haven't been relegated , ask the three who went down what they would call success and I know what they would tell you We've just about managed to scrape a couple more points than our lowest prem total. Ask any fans of the three that went down if they were expecting anything else. If you think that avoiding relegation after 10 years in the top flight is a success then crack on.

Agreed. Almost certain that Hughes will stay.
We ended up 10 points clear of relegation and 2 points off 8th (saying more about the quality of the league as oppose to the quality of Stoke City FC!), Coates won't get rid of that.
So we have to get behind him and the lads, but he needs to address our (his) many short-comings. UTP.

Maybe manage more than 41 goals in 38 games? Maybe not chop and change our set up constantly? Maybe not regularly concede 3-4 goals? Maybe have a transfer window that actually results in us improving the first team? Maybe looking vaguely like we did in the manager's first two seasons, rather than a dour replay of his predecessor's last stand?

What the hell for? Hull got comfortably relegated. There were no heroics there at all. Silva did well to even make a fight of it. He took more points than Phelan in fewer games, despite having his best two players sold in January and being stuck with a threadbare, Championship squad.

My thoughts exactly. Almost any other keeper and we lose that game. I'll get behind the team. I've had it with Hughes. So if Butland had not got injured on the eve of the new season you think we would have finished higher then? Rooney's goal, but land could have saved? The mix up v West Brom? Eh if that hadn't have happened we'd be two points higher than West Brom in 9th. Just to put a bit of perspective on this. "It's been obviously a disappointing season overall, we've been chasing our tails right from the off. " That quote was from glen whelan
