Anyone here tried New Amsterdam Gin? It's an American gin exceptionally smooth and refined. I went into a Spar in Shrewsbury one lunchtime to buy a sandwich and walked out with a bottle of this under my arm as well. You can get it in some Sainsburys and Morrisons as well. Very highly recommended. You may very well recommend it young man but I think a sandwich on its own is far more suitable for lunch , don't you ?

Rum Bars are the new thing too. The rumba bar. Sweeping south as we speak.
What''s the place in MCR, The Washroom or some such bollox.
Can't say I'm a fan of aspirational alcohol, particularly. Cheap, strong and cheerful are the watchwords.

A dreadful drink. The smell makes me barf.
Remember going to grenalls distillery in Warrington once with work and the stench was overpowering.
Not for me. I'll stick with the whisky and bourbon.
