ManC game comfortably. Liverpool was amazing but being totally objective they probably slightly shaded the second half. We totally dominated ManC from start to finish.

The 3 0 at home to Spurs was outstanding.

The Arsenal game genuinely pisses me off thinking about it despite the 3 points. If the officials hadn't inexplicably disallowed Bojan's goal to make it 4-0 we'd have gone on to win that 5 or 6. We were sublime and 3-2 does it absolutely no justice, we'd still be dining out on that result now.....

2-0 vs Man City was by far the best Stoke performance I've ever seen. It's a cliche to say "we should have won that game by 'x' amount of goals" just because that was the number of half-chances a team created. But we genuinely could (perhaps should) have won that game 4 or 5-0 and Arnie really should have gone home with the match ball.
We got everything right that day. The unorthodox formation using Bojan as the 'false nine', the pressing in midfield, the passing, the creativity, the use of Arnie as the main goal threat by making diagonal runs, the use of Shaq coming deeper to create the chances for Bojan and Arnie, the midfield balance with Afellay in the side.
The 6-1 against Liverpool was the better scoreline. But this game was the best performance, and (not to taking anything away from the Liverpool game) it wasn't a game at the end of the season were the opposition had nothing little to play but pride and the send-off of a club legend.
It's almost upsetting (and certainly baffling) to look at how good we were in December 2015 and how poor we've been since February 2016, and wonder what the fuck went wrong.

4-3 against Everton was a gripping match with great quality on both sides.
The Man United game deserves a mention too as it confirmed we were not a one trick pony.
How we can go from those sublime matches to what we are this season God only knows.

I was thinking about the difference in the crowd and player attitude after the Liverpool result and then the Arsenal result. Poles apart in just 2 years GD
